The vfl side has really pulled it together this year.
And its starts with Capiron.
Go Catters

Capiron has gone up a level but he was already a good VFL player.

The big difference is getting quality mature players in the team. Hardie, Mannagh and Humphries have been dominant. Bews provides a mature body. Knevitt and Clohesy are both much better than last year. Willis is playing regularly and is a solid VFL player.

Even the bottom aged first years like O'Sullivan and Stevens are contributing much more than your average first year.

That's why I'd love to see him get a gig

I know he doesn't necessarily get as much of the ball as others, but he just doesn't stop, and wondering if he could be the next Axe in the guts
Axe has been fantastic for us, no doubt. But I actually think Clohesy's natural ability and footy smarts could see him surpass Tom's output for the club over time. I'm definitely biased about the kid but I still believe he's capable of playing a lot of senior games over a lot of years.

Ferocious and has a knack for hitting the scoreboard

Apologies for the intrusion but how is Emerson Jeka going? Always felt he had the talent but came across as very lazy.
Seen most games this year. Reads play well and zones off his guy very well to make contest. Can go 1 on 1 as well.
Nice kick and mark.

However - does sone really lazy and dumb shit too - has a habit of taking low % kicks across goal face to player in poor position and makes it other players problem.
Costs goals most times he does it .

On that alone he won’t promoted IMO.

Good point, what happened to Furph?

Strong team with all the ins.

From a selfish POV, Kuol mun being an emergency a few times lowers his profile and maybe the chance for a sneaky rookie pick?

Not sure on Furph - no mention of him other than in the outs which as you can see don't really specify anything

Hoping it's just management as it's his first season

Strongest team for the year I think. The three emergencies have all been good 🙂

Excited for today. Whilst AFL team is struggling, it's great we have some prospects in the VFL. It's been a highlight watching this team this year compared to the previous decade.
I'm looking for hope! Big George, Humphries, O'sullivan, Conway, Edwards let's go!

I know its on 7 today but does it alo get steamed on AFL site as well.

I cant do 7plus from over here so im gonna be pissed if AFL app is blocked bc its on 7 plus.

GO Catters

Most pumped I have been for a VFL game for a long time.

There surely is one or two senior spots available for the taking.

Excited to see who has what it takes to step up and claim it for themselves.
