Scholz has a serious "**** it" moment and lays some smack down on pro-russian protestors.

Except that these lies have clearly been happening since before the invasion began. He was being told it would only last 3 days and therefore the whole military apparatus was only prepared for that singular outcome. Didn't seem to even consider that they, at some point, might have to defend their gains.Anton is very good at propaganda, that's his job.
How Anton Gerashchenko is waging an ‘information war’ against Russia
Looks like Australia is getting ready so send hornets over to Ukarine
And well I think some one broke the Russian propagandist
These two alleged translations were posted in Alexander Khodakovsky TG channel, suggesting Western tanks are being used in 2 sites in the east.
"The situation near Vuhledar, where the enemy started a new attempt to break through at night, is quite difficult, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the support of armored vehicles, are trying to shake up our defenses and are stepping up efforts. It is reported about the appearance in this direction of western tanks."
"The enemy is making attempts to push through the defenses of the Russian army in the areas of Novodonetsk and to the left of Velikonovoselovka, the situation there is really difficult. According to Khodakovsky, the enemy has found weaknesses in the defense and is now stepping up efforts to finally break through it, introducing reserves and new armored vehicles. It is reported that German "Leopards" have already appeared on this sector of the front."
In the fantasy land the orcs live in, they have caused huge losses on the Ukrainian side. Surprised that they didn’t include any Abrams or F-16’s in the tally.
All this despite still losing the town as of their own account, and not posting any footage of Leopards or the other 109 vehicles. Russia really scrambling to invent positive news.
I cant wait for the time these current Russian commentary of major defeats of the UAF are reversed with “those towns we had in Donetsk were just a feint.”Didn't take long:
War zone villagers flee after massive Ukraine dam destroyed
A torrent of water burst through a massive dam on the Dnipro River that separates Russian and Ukrainian forces in southern Ukraine on Tuesday, flooding a swathe of the war zone, forcing villagers to flee and prompting finger-pointing from both sides.www.reuters.com
Outside of Saab aircraft, Hornets make sense operationally as they don't need the long runways F-16s do.
Either F/A-18 or F-16 platform is incredibly complex and wouldn't be seen in action for many months though, even with accelerated training of experienced pilots
I haven't seen this posted, but it appears the Nova Karkhova dam has been destroyed, presumably by the Russians to impede the Ukrainian counter offensive.
Perhaps a sign the Russians may pursue a scorched earth retreat. Lock up your washing machines.
Troops will get water, it'll be the civilians of Crimea who suffer, which is terribly on point for the Russian military.Doesn't this effect Crimea's water supply?
So now you are going to have Russian's setup a defensive line in Crimea but no water to supply to their troops.
This thread has a number of videos of rivers rising downstream and some simulations of which areas will flood. There also has been some discussion about whether it will aid or hinder RF defence.

Maybe just the russian people in Crimea won't be happy.Russian vatniks tend to blow s**t up when they are losing and are forced to retreat. The people of Crimea won't be happy.
Some infor about the dam
Legacy hornets cannot carry a lot of the more recent more capable munitions though. There is a reason we do not use them.Makes sense to me, the F/A-18 will provide better close air support (CAS) as it can loiter for longer than the F16 due to having better range and fuel economy. The F/A-18 has more ground attack capability and can carry a heavier payload for this role.
F16 will probably be used more for combat air patrol (CAP) to protect the F/A-18's from any incoming bogeys and bandits.
Both platforms can also be used to perform SEAD (Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses) missions to establish air superiority in contested locations. Also of interest is the anti-ship capability as Ukraine would be keen to knock off a few more Russian ships in the process.
Its a pity the Ukrainians could get these aircraft earlier before this offensive begins. Hopefully their current aircraft is up for task in the meantime.
