Apart from the obvious thread title, I am lost for words. Don't know what to say... feeling hollow at the moment.
.

I was reading through old threads and found this. I remember I was overseas in Europe dreading this result.

Have never recovered since despite so many chances over the upcoming years. And yep, we had to play the Eagles at Subiaco Oval. It was a near impossible game to win, it did not even matter if it was Geelong from 2007 nobody would have won that game.

These chances don't come very often. Firstly you have to win those home and away games that matter, it does not matter how good you are, if you are not good under pressure you miss your chance at a good finish and finals chance.

Don't ****ing remind me...we should've won the premiership that year. I remember watching our games at the start of the year and we are amazing. We never should've taken a full side to Subi in the final round, we should've done a Ross Lyon special and rested our team. If we'd done that we would've won the premiership.

This is BS. I was at that game off my rocker blind drunk. Had a good time out the following Saturday night.

This however pales in significance against the WCE prelim in 2006, the captain was on the scotch that day, as the captain and I had not officially met yet.

And to think if the revelations about that team (west-coke) that came out afterwards.......ANGRY.

Channel the rage, light the fire and visualise September glory.
