We blew it.

First of all, does the coaching staff subscribe to the dyertribe school of Robert Harvey scepticism? Why no hard tag? Goodwin might have had the best of him in the last, but not for the first three quarters.
A few queries...
Welsh - missed two sitters at goal
Skipworth - also missed a couple, a specialist forward that struggles to make the distance from 50 is a liability
Thompson - so much for future captain, he was chief hothead out there tonight
McLeod - burnt the ball a bit going forward, and has become a perpetual offender in not kicking through the ball in running shots at goal
Doughty, Massie - unsighted
Perrie - I'm loath to criticise him as he was our best tonight, but it's frustrating when the only marks he puts down are when he's closest to goal
Our defence was good as usual. Rutten and Hentschel were great, Bassett too especially early.
We've been waiting ten weeks for our mediocre forward structure to get exposed. It did at the worst possible time.
On the plus side, we're not licked yet. We've got a home semi and are oncourse for a round 22 replay. And we have Ricciuto (and Bock) to come back into the side.

lol 5107power come back if we do it two yrs in a row.
Probably huge but they had players out too - reckon the law of averages says we had to lose a game at some stage - but Harvey and DalSanto were the difference.Jumbo said:

I think Power Power fans should keep quiet. Adelaide won two grand finals in a row not choke in the two finals that would have taken them to a grand final

DW. i think that u must take the criticism for the peformance that was shown by the AFC. u held all the cards today. they had 5 first team players out and u had 2 yes one was ur skipper and the other was bock. but u should have flogged them i think u over achived during the regular season, and have been found wanting in FINALS

yes its ironic when if you even slightly criticise them on their board you're banned, not just the posts removed. Call them chokers on their board and you wont be posting too much more on there.
