Kids used to get debuted all the time as a sub back when it was a tactical sub (which it is again so it is guaranteed to get activated).

Yeah I think a lot of people have missed the rule change, and think there’s a chance he won’t get on the field.

Shades of Ben Cousins about that attack on the ball and the goal.

A couple of things we have never done well under Simpsons coaching are:

•Cover front and square of a marking contest.

•Patrol the area at the back of a pack mark for the ball that spills through.

When both these are done with pace and attack on the ball it usually has a highly productive outcome attached to it.

Kelly and Shuey do it, but since Le Cras we have missed the ability of a small to mid sized forward to consistently do this.

EH effort and subsequent goal pleased me greatly.

We got a glimpse of EH’s ability to pull this move off in a scratch match earlier in the year, the kids got some class.

I’ve been waiting to see what this kid could do, because I think he could be amazing. He’s got a bit of Benny cousins about him, which is awesome for on field, but also a bit of a concern for Off field activities ha ha.
