He wore No. 5 for Carlton.

If anyone had told me a month ago that SPS would be an Eagle 🦅 and it only cost draft pick 52, I would have suspected that they had just got off the party bus with Willy and his mates.

Bargain.

Hope the new midfield coaches can get the best out of him on a consistent basis.

Excellent upgrade to our list.

Kudos to the trading team.

Interesting link between the two clubs and that particular jumper

Gee, you made out like bandits. SPS is a class act. Was played out of position. He needs to be played in traffic not half back like we did. His games against Pies in their 125th anniversary game and against the dogs were elite.

He has great peripheral awareness, time & space. He can distribute in traffic and doesn't turn the ball over. At a minimum he is a great tempo player when things need to calm down.

Wishing him all the best and hoping he can consistently fulfill his potential.

I reckon he takes the number 19 for us, as a Betts tribute.

neat kick over 20-30m. Is he damaging kicking it 50+?
Who knows as he doesn't kick it any further than 30m. Not sure if it's a confidence thing or if it's his natural game but I'd love to see him be more aggressive with his kicking.

For the price we've scored him for it's a great piece of recruiting as he has some wonderful skills. All he needs to do is set his eyes down the field a bit more and hit up some targets at a longer range.
