Now Ginnivan is someone that will benefit from Dermies instruction.
Give the lad 23

He wore #33 at Collingwood due to his fandom of Cyril growing up. That number became vacant when Brockman was traded. Pretty sure he'll be wearing #33 for Hawthorn.

Pretty sure the last time a non key position player wore #23 for Hawthorn would have been Michael Collica back in 1999-2000. In the 21st century, it's been a number given to key position players (Nathan Thompson from 2001-2004, Lance Franklin from 2006-2013, Tim O'Brien from 2014-2021, and Jacob Koschitzke the last two years). Can't rule it out, but it would be a change in direction by the club.

Surprised at the sycophantic praise from hawks fans here. I’d always held this forum with a bit more AFL IQ than the typical club forum, and if I was a Hawks fan I’d be super nervous the Hawks have inherited a liability here.

The rate Collingwood delicately shipped him speaks volumes.

40 goals in his first season is pretty ordinary???
I think it’s more he averages less tackles in his career than Mitch Lewis and a third of the tackles Luke Breust does.

He’s got something to work with but he’s also got a lot to work on.

A career 1.3 tackles per game versus Luke Bruest 3.65 -> one area of the game he can upskill in immediately.

I can see this one working out if he is mentored appropriately.

Ginnivan and Watson in the same forward line would be interesting viewing

Thanks for your help.

The fact that you have taken the time to bless us with your special insight is greatly appreciated by everyone here, many of whom, I'm sure, now see the error of their ways

I always wanted Strauchanie at the Hawks.

In all seriousness, I'm ****ing wrapt with this. Have acquired a talented, relatively established premiership small forward at a clearance price. Best of all, he's still a kid at 20. Not concerned about the off-field stuff; Mitch/Rats will beat that out of him pretty quickly.

Sicily, Maginness, Ginnivan on each line.. Quite the trifecta of shithousery.
