No it doesn't look good for Collins and Roberts, but I don't think that should be surprising.

If there's one thing that Bevo really values in his game plan it's versatility, and he really doesn't like guys that are tall but unathletic, slow and not good marks.

So a future back line trio of Naughton/Young/Cordy sacrifices height for a lot more mobility, athleticism, running, marking and pressure than your average backline.

I think if Bevo had a choice his entire backline would just be Easton Woods of various sizes, and I really think he and Dalrymple are kind of trying to achieve that.

Probably not the right thread, but I am so pleased with our trade/draft period.

KPF: former #2 pick entering his 3rd season, Schache
KPB: Trengove and Naughton
Versatiles who are pacey, kick well and are good overhead: Crozier and Richards
Interesting smokey: Porter, a midfielder with an all round game.

3 of the 6 are ready to go - have AFL seasons under their belts. Another 2 look like they will be breaking into the first 22 before 2018 is out.

Coming up rookie draft: redraft the unlucky Rourke Smith who otherwise looks like he could be up to the standard. + 1 more category A, wonder what we will do? Ready made for depth? Project player?

Off the list: 2 genuine retirees whose time was up, a player who had hardly played for 2 years, a player who had a mediocre season and with whom the club had reached an impasse on issues, a later draft pick who hadn't made it for a game in 3 years, a once great KPF who was dumped and in his career twilight.

Well done, my club. Lots of publicity gained, prominent traders, good results.

Surely you know about bandwagons GM?
There aren't any windows. It's an open top wagon so the crowds can see your scarves, streamers and trumpets as you roll on past.
(1B's not a bad seat actually, just in case some troll throws a few tomatoes as you go past ... True Dog provides some cover in 1A and gets hit first.)

Yeah, my bad, I must have been thinking of the Richmond bandwagons - they have windows for their supporters to lick

Life gets boring sometimes when you retire at 35 ;)
Thanks man, I feel it. Especially watching the cricket in front of my oled tv.

Omg you have an Oled TV? At just 37 years of age you somehow managed to save enough money to buy an OLED TV!? That's amazing!! You're so ****ing cool man.

Thanks for sharing that with us, here I was thinking that you had just a regular LCD TV. How silly of me.

His mum knew he wanted one so she dropped his board to $10 per week

Warming to this pick... Dalrymple said we went best available.
If he can become an effective long left foot kick...

I never saw an issue with this. To those who were claiming we have plenty of defenders, more of them have question marks than those who don't. Morris is 35, Collins has played 1 game in 2 years, Roberts looks completely out of favor, Adams' feet keep breaking and while Lewis Young looks promising, he has a lot of work to do, particularly on his kicking and decision making.

My biggest worry is the WA factor. We already lost Hamling to this and nearly lost Adams; there's always something dodgy about taking taking WA kids. That being said, even if he did go, Lever got Adelaide 2 first rounders, so if he fulfills his potential we'd at least get a good return.
The WA factor has been an issue for clubs in the past but we held on to Shaggy for his whole career and Freo threw a giant offer at Hamling so money was a factor. I’m reasonably confident with Naughton and English.

450k a year isn't what I'd call giant by AFL standards. Hargrave isn't the type of player who would be in high demand.

Adams requested a trade last year before re-signing this year. Jayden Schofield also left us to go back.

I am not trolling mate. Ask Man of clay.

And I’ve already explained it while quoting the exact article.

You fell for a Richmond supporter sensationalising it. Naughton merely said he’d rather play for the club he loved growing up over the club his colts and WAFL team was aligned to
