There was a few more raw talent which was disappointing to see missed out after showing potential throughout the season. Jacob Farrow (WP) very good attacking half back with elite foot skills both sides of the foot. Baxter Grey (P) by all accounts had a super PSA season and looked very solid when coming back to colts level. Lucas Cattalini (SF) showed great potential as a KPF with a great set of hands with the possibility to pinch hit in the ruck. Frazer Rickson (S) showed great raw talent in the ruck with his aggressive ability to follow up at ground level and could count himself extremely unlucky to miss out.

I can't disagree with anything you've said.

There's stiil time for those blokes to impress and bang the door down.

I posted this in the draft thread, hope ok if post in here as well. Maybe things are turning a bit with WA draftees. But I’d luv to know thoughts.

Question I posed in other thread:
What’s happened to WA footy ? Some of the greatest ever players a have come from there. Always the most skilful footballers, just played the game effortlessly.
I know nothing about the football over there really, am genuinely interested. Has there been a drop off in investment etc? You wouldn’t expect there to be with the wealth etc of West Coast and the health of the game generally.
North have always had absolute guns come out of WA. Quite a few of our TOTC.
Cable, Rosco, Jimmy&Phil, Phil Kelly(FS rules changed and we got stitched) and Winston are some of my all time faves.
*I’m sure I’ve forgotten someone amazing on that above list

For sure mate and don't forget that he is a natural right footer although his left boot is good also.
Bloody hell!! Just went back and watched it...he is too.....OMG what a prospect! He'd be up there with the best looking non-preferred I've seen. His left foot has that real left-footer-gliding stylish look about it, like Bont....Blown away by that.
Ok North, keep F1 at all costs!!!!! We luv our WA's

Hey Futbolista, just relating to this year do you know much about Ashton Warner? I saw he’s the younger brother of Chad & a few articles have Chad saying him & the younger brother could be the best of the lot. He’s nominated for this years draft.

His WAFL stats look decent so what are your thoughts on him?

He's very small, goes in hard and is tough but I don't think he's on the draft radar.

He will probably play reserves for East Fremantle next season and maybe even a few colts games as an overager.

Maybe a full season of colts as an overager will help him establish himself as a top line WAFL colt.

His lack of height will count against him though.

My thoughts exactly, probably the smallest of all the 4 Warner boys.....apparently the youngest lad is the most talented....can remember Chad saying that a few years back somewhere.

Can see Ashton being an over age colt, playing the odd reserves game....Can't wait to see how Pauline tracks next year.....league debut at some point I reckon.
