I don't have a real problem with the odd bump here and there but you seem to do it more than most. Why is that?
Because I have a long memory.

So why do you continue to bump threads? Does it give you some self satisfaction?
I post in threads that interest me.

The fact that they were started a while back is no obstacle to that.

Posts don't get erased after a month. There's no expiry date on people's comments.

Why does it upset you so much?

You post in threads to to fuel your ego
That's your assumption.

But that's all it is.

It doesn't upset me. I just find it amusing that your way of "educating the savages" is to bump threads to try and embarass or rub it in to certain individuals
It obviously sticks in your craw.

Why else would you harp on about it as though I'm doing something wrong?

Answer me this Gunnar, what is your plan of attack for "educating the savages?" I don't see any evidence that you're actually achieving this. Do you conduct weekly reports to assess how you're coming along?

How do rate how well you're going? Is their some sort of checklist?

My presence on these boards makes others smarter.

It's like osmosis.

There is no checklist.

Sometimes I think I'm fighting a losing battle.

Especially when I have to compete with you, whose presence makes people dumber.

I don't think so. How does one win by 12 points at home with the amount of possessions the Eagles had to day, affirm that they are not "gaaawn" for the year? Most people expected a home win when Cousins was to return, so the win tonight proves nothing. Therefore your bump of this thread was stupid. The fact is they have performed very poorly at times this year, and do seem to be out of premiership contention (would be happy to be proved wrong after I see some great away wins until Rd 22).

You are kidding? Even the commentators who were pro weagles & on benny watch, all said that the weagles were getting the best of the umps, but then what else is new.
lol I also remember hearing them complain about half of the soft Swans frees... Does that make the umpiring bias againt us

lol no - little impact on the game which = a good thing and a better game for all

Are we still in "serious trouble"?
Nope but we're still questionable. And we were in serious trouble last week so what's your point?

If we knock over the Bulldogs tomorrow night, we're going to start looking pretty dangerous.
And if we don't we're that wheel is still fallen off.

There's an opening for the Eagles to go all the way here - a lack of real hardened finals danger teams on top of there being every chance that sooner or later Geelong fall off the pace.

But the catch is the Eagles have to get it together. And there's no guarantees on that.

I completely agree.

If we, West Coast, get our best team on the park and the players in form, we'll win the Premiership.

At the moment though it's looking like a dogfight to just finish in the Top 4. Assuming we do however, which most likely means we'd have won a few good away victories, then I think we'll be feared by most.

As for Geelong it's impossible to predict how they'll fare. Finals must be played at the MCG by my understanding due to the AFL's agreement with the MCC, which could take away the Cat's advantage at Telstra Dome and Skilled Stadium. It would also, in my opinion increase Collingwood's chances due to familiarity
