Your previous disappointments are in no way a logical prediction of what will happen with a group of players who have no idea who you are.

Yes they could fail, but like I said - the coach in charge has a huge amount to do with that, and there are question marks over Longmuir as of now.

Again that dockers 2003-06 side was good on paper but failed to make finals in 2004-5.

I think Justin Longmuir is a substandard coach. I don't expect Freo to win a flag under him.

We don't have that belief as we have a history or failure and it rubs on the whole side.

We just don't have that confidence to be a consistent side.

Teams like West coast, hawks, cats, Collingwood have a history of winning flags and belief to go back up the ladder and succeed again.
