You are right, his worst is still pretty good, just frustrating as he was amazing last year.

Nah, you're right as well, he's a shadow of himself which is frustrating because Caleb is playing out of his skin right now and we need both firing on all cylinders. Brayshaw is playing poorly for Player MVP standards.
I wonder if he's not still getting over that Covid from pre-season

Pretty impressed by the character of the group. Half time, season on the line & the boys stood up when most no doubt thought they wouldn’t. Great to see some passion & hopefully that 2nd half is the catalyst for the season to get started.
In line with positive, negative, positive approach, & staying away from how we played, we need to start better as we are continually chasing tail. We have won only 3 first quarters in the last 20 games & something has to change.
Back to a positive & individuals in Serong, Darcy & Walters were immense, but Shoota worked extra hard tonight covering for Switta. He is all heart.

At the very least, Jacko ball in hand is much better than Lobb ball in hand.
In the air? 50/50 atm but I think Jackos scope to improve is way higher.
Still a long term prospect, I suppose, based on that.
Amiss, ****en hell is already a player but I recon he's going to be a premier fwd of the competition in due course. Has added contested marking to his bow too, becoming a complete player.

For the love of god, please keep Sturt in the team. You all saw the glimpses, give him some consistency in the 1sts and he'll be special.
Don't really care that Banners kicked a goal, I don't want him in the team. I don't think we would lose any mobility playing Treacy over him, he brings the pressure.
Last quarter was something to build the rest of the season on, surely they can all see that fast precise play with low kicks to leads is the way to go.

Dogga has a habit of sitting too far under the ball and then marking it behind his head. If he sorts that, he'll take a lot more marks. Looked good today, couple of great finishes too. Keep that up and the trade is less of a disaster.

Jackson just needs to be aware and understanding of where Darcy is in the air. Spoiling him so much tonight. A few kick ins got into trouble

In a game full of our players fumbling, he stood out with his one grab play. Very refreshing to see!
As someone who always wants Banfield dropped I don't see how he could be left out next week. He was good today, about the best game I've seen him play.

I think a slight tweak to the chevrons and it would look good, definitely a good option for a clash strip when the opposition is wearing bright colours.

In the promo image the lighting made the chevrons stand out more, almost like an ombré going laterally. Feel like that would’ve been alright

It could have been full, dark purple with thin white chevrons and actually have looked decent. Looked too close to a shitty Carltank jumper to me.
Just looked at the stats. Serong has 37 possessions next highest for freo is Schultz with 20.
obviously brodie did well after coming on to say the least but jeepers I cant remember the last time I've seen such a carry job in the midfield.
