Yeah, absolutely.
He’s come on that quickly, we’ve had no choice but to play him, and he’s probably not ready to fill the ruck/fwd role just yet. So finding his feet down back is understandable.
I just really hope it’s the focus of the club and coaches through the off season and in to next season to get him and up running in that role, as ruckman can take a little while to get a handle on the actual ruck side of things. We’ve seen it with Tim, and even someone like Max Gawn took a little while to find his rhythm.
It’s a scary prospect having Darc and English in tandem. Two Gawn style ruckman. Don’t think we’ve ever seen a team field such a dangerous combination like that. Add to that, Naughts and Marra in the front half too, It’s an extremely exciting future for us.

Libba has had a better year than both Bont and Macrae
Thought Libba was basically a lock for the team, never mind missing the squad. Very stiff indeed considering he has been the best midfielder at his club, and two other midfielders from the club have been selected. Go figure, who does the selecting these days?

AA is the most pointless award in the game. The fact that Billy Gowers didn't even make the squad in 2018 tells you all that you need to know.

A few are forgetting Macrae's excellent first half of the year. Also think his form "slump" has been overinflated by some group think in here. A bit of Bigfooty goldfish memory again.

Bont was pretty underwhelming for 3/4 of the year tbh.
