Guys I had no idea of where to put this... felt like it belonged under the 'Disgrace' thread running at the moment... but seriously, I apologise in advance if this is not the right place.

My only thoughts on the matter are...
1) It's a great pity they didn't wear a Geelong hoops jumper, given he is no longer our problem...
2) Are we missing an opportunity to employ them as an ambassador and get 'Bailey' to our games?
(not being serious about the latter, I don't want to give him any more air time)

Courtney Act has well and truly kicked off Halloween week.
The beloved Aussie drag queen ditched the feathers for the football to transform into AFL star Bailey Smith – and the resemblance is uncanny.

“Can’t kick a goal, but I can serve a look,” Act captioned a series of photos on Instagram. “Career pivot alert! No, not to AFL—I’m a drag king now and I’m bringing Bailey Smith realness!”

In the photos, the 42-year-old dresses up as Geelong’s newest recruit in his former Western Bulldogs gear. Act even has the popular midfielder’s pose down pat with her arms folded across her chest as she pouts into the distance.

“If you’re not familiar with Bazlenka - you’re welcome. He’s every gay man’s favourite AFL player (he’s also the only AFL player gay men know),” Act added in her caption while also ticking Smith’s “Iconique Mullet. Moustache. Bulldogs kit” off her list.
Smith was traded to the Geelong Cats last month.

Meanwhile, Act’s choice of Halloween costume is rather conservative given that just days ago she stripped naked at one of her hometown’s most iconic sightseeing spots.

Climbing the top of Brisbane’s Story Bridge, she stripped down to her birthday suit while in full drag make-up, but it was all for a good reason: to mark the opening weekend of Brisbane’s Melt Festival.

The queer art festival is a major celebration for the LGBTQIA+ arts and allies, which takes over Brisbane from October 23 to 10 November 10.
Among one of the attractions during the festival took place this weekend when thousands of naked men and women stripped off on the bridge for photographer Spencer Tunick to take part in a dramatic art shoot.

The New York artist orchestrated the event, with thousands of men and women strolling barefoot through Brisbane before posing on the bridge for the monumental installation.

Photos from Sunday show the bridge packed to the brim with naked bodies. In one shot, everyone crouches over on all fours, their heads turned into their chests.
Speaking to news.com.au ahead of his latest trip down under, Tunick said he’d noticed Australia kept drawing him back of late.

“I think it’s the people: Australians enjoy the variations in weather, the challenge of getting up early in the morning and getting through a brisk sunrise. I think Australia is up for a little bit more of an adventure than other countries.”

Which also shows you what a "bad contract" actually means is also open to interpretation so Kane can just pick and choose what he means by "bad contract" if people were to question it.

The Treloar contract was obviously bad for the Pies because it got them into salary cap trouble. But in a vacuum, giving a player a 5y, 900k deal and that he would go on to be an All-Australian within that deal is obviously not a bad deal because All-Australians are worth that money and all clubs would pay that amount to get an All-Australian player.

One thing that is easy to forget when assessing the Treloar situation (and a few others), is that the contract salary only ended up so high because they did deals to underpay him up front, in order to fit other players under their salary cap, with the promise of paying him back handsomely later under a new back ended contract.

Hence, Collingwood are primarily paying Treloar money that they owed him for his earlier service.

Did you count up all the free kicks we shouldn’t have got and the ones Sydney should have got?
I watched most of the second half. Probably about three questionable calls in our favour but they didn't lead to anything significant.

We were the better team in that half, and the commentators mentioned this on multiple occasions.

Even a couple of the dodgy frees didn't impact the game because they were advantages. Of course the umps weren't to assume they would be an advantage when awarding the free, but the practical outcome was minimised.

The decision to overturn Johannisen's goal - which they should not have given that they're trying to project a 3D image with a 2D video that is not a bird's eye view - was more egregiously incorrectthan any free kick we won, in any case, and was a more critical scoreboard impact than a random bad decision in the midfield is.
