Have to say I'd be quite happy if the list doing the rounds on social media this morning regarding positive off season drug testing turns out to be accurate

Was originally posted on a page called "I hate Hawthorn" so take with whatever amount of salt you think is appropriate.

Can you post the alleged list?
Edit: Thanks Bont2Boyd

Most impressed with that article. It didn't ONCE refer to him as Jesse.

His new-found fame and the fact that his name is now on everyone's lips might have helped drill the name "Jake" into the thick skulls of people like Dermie...

"Hunched shoulders" is the new Jessie!

What the majority of people don't realise is that these substances aren't performance enhancing. And also that these are humans taking these substances that actually may need help, not them plastered all over some b grade newspaper by a fat idiot with a drinking problem (is that irony?) That's just creating a stronger image to society and the player themselves that drug users don't deserve help, when it's vital that they do receive it.
Also does it mention what substances were taken? If not I'd bet my life that over half would have been marijuana.

I think it should be taken with even more amount of salt considering the Suns only have 4 players. Would have thought it would have been triple that.
Mark Stevens was saying North and GC were down the bottom of the list and I heard a rumour and put 2 and 2 together that the Hawks were right near the top of the list. This is actually quite believable.

He won't. I reckon he's the sort of cat to soak it all in and enjoy as much attention as possible. Which I don't mind as long as his mind firmly stays on the job each week.

When you win three flags in a row, the parties get bigger

They are however illegal and I would lose my job if I was found to have them in my system after presenting for work.

That footballers, who get paid far more than I do, should be allowed to flout the law and yet retain their paid position of employment doesn't sit well with me.

Surely the vast majority of people DO realise that these are not PEDs. Otherwise this would be massive - a bigger story than WhatEverItTakesgate.
Also, if it's just marijuana I'm not convinced that they really need help. Probably 70% of the Australian population have tried it at some stage. I'm not recommending it, just implying that for all but a very small percentage there are no long term problems. Far less than with alcohol anyway.

Would you lose your job for taking illicit drugs in your holidays, while not taking or being affected by them when at work? (noting the hair test results being leaked only say they've taken drugs in a defined period which largely encompasses the players' annual leave period).

If you would lose your job for failing a hair test that is a tough gig. Actually I don't know any job where hair tests are used as a means to assess fitness for work. If you do, I'd be genuinely interested to know.

Actually they are performance enhancing - their performance on the dance floor goes through the roof!
