Nothing would satisfy me more right now than drafting H.Reid and watch him kick a bag against the tin-rattlers.


And anyone else wanting to entertain splitting the pick in this massively compromised draft needs to give themselves an uppercut as well.

Sure I'm not disagreeing with that, all I am saying is IF the Eagles made a deal with North, IF being the key word that would likely be the deal.

The likely deal from Norths side then? Can’t see anything getting done if that’s the case given ROB has already stated it’ll take plenty more than that (although granted, things change).

Unless the AFL step in with some shady back room deal that’ll give us a PP somewhere or Reid’s camp spook us, I can see us just sticking with what we’ve got. 2 and 15 is barely more than we got for pick 2 last year, I’d hope it was rejected on the spot if we’re to have any confidence in this rebuild.

Exactly. The AFL aren't going to give them access to sanders and early compo for McKay for them to reduce there draft hand. Having 2 3 and sanders sets them up for 2024. Giving one of those away would be irresponsible. If anything they should be trading out 3 for 2 picks in the teens and taking 5 first rounders.

At least he acknowledges that we might not be very interested in 4 and 15 (or more likely 6 and 18 after all the bullshit). More than we've seen on a lot of these.

That McGovern call is one of the most speculative things I've seen yet for this trade period. I guess if the Dogs want to give us their first rounder or English or Naughton for a 32 year old and some pocket change you'd take it but seriously, the guy just re-signed.
