I've had enough of all of these kents already.

Nothing would satisfy me more right now than drafting H.Reid and watch him kick a bag against the tin-rattlers.

And anyone else wanting to entertain splitting the pick in this massively compromised draft needs to give themselves an uppercut as well.

Yeah absolutely no chance we come last. Going to miss it by a dodgy interchange infringement. North won’t win another game. We’ll beat them comfortably with our ins and only need one more which isn’t inconceivable if all our blokes get a good block of games in. We nearly beat Freo earlier in the year and I could see if happening again now their season is cooked.

Will be happy not to win a spoon but it’ll be a bit of a buzzkill given our season was over in round 3 and this was the only consolation

Think Adelaide could be winnable later in the year as well if they're out of finals contention.

I feel like I'm in the twilight zone....we've had exactly 1 game out of the last 13 where we've looked even remotely competitive and all of a sudden we're beating Adelaide & Fremantle.
I mean FFS 3 weeks ago we lost by 171 to team in the bottom 6
We seriously need kane cornes in here. Theres alot of bathwater drinking

I too am also concerned about our ability to jump North on the ladder, they are very awful. BUT let’s remember we’ve won 3 games since the win in Round 19 2021 against St Kilda. As stated earlier we lost by 171 to a team that was sitting 15th only a few weeks ago.

It’s no forgone conclusion that we will jump North, let alone beat them (they’ve won the last 3 against us now)

Carlton, Bombers, Dogs all proper finals contenders so we won’t win those (all away as well).

Richmond in the race and in form today, would be pretty unlikely.

Hopefully Adelaide stay in the hunt, but even if not they are a decent side and will want to continue building for next year with a win.

Freo will treat us as their GF as always. We are still a sneaky chance.

Nth based on today I think we beat them.

Basically the close ladder plus our improved performance against the Saints should help us ‘win’ the spoon. Teams won’t take us for granted for the remainder of the season.

See everyone, let’s pump the brakes on chat of jumping North.

We might win that one, can’t see anything other than that.

Let the strategy talk continue!

No chance vs Dockers 2 weeks later?
That's the other "danger game".
They’ll flat track bully that game most likely, given they’ll likely be on a bit of a losing streak themselves

Bro

Gaffs back in form and we lead us back the promised land.

I don't think Reid was ultra impressive today, but I'd still take him if we finish last and don't split the pick.
He loves the fend off, but needs to work on his decision making a bit, e.g. giving it off to a teammate in a contest instead of taking the shot was a bit unimpressive.
Don't think anyone has completely overtaken him yet, and I wouldn't draft Curtin or the 2 Tassie boys as early as pick 1.

i still worry we could jag more 2 wins from here. weird things can happen in the last few rounds.
That'll piss me off if we miss out on #1 and Simmo and Gaffy and Sheeda and a heap of other spuds who won't be around for much longer are all high fiving each other like they just climbed Everest. No you *ing didn't.

North are atrocious. They are as bad as us. We play them at home. We'll probably win. Then there's 4 more games. It's going to be tight if we beat them.
I'm like forward to the ****ery during the week like the Hawthorn leadup where one side gets covid and then the other gastro then injuries on the captains run, then injuries in the pregame warmup.
