Special call-out to Ben Reid who has found a new way to lose a Grand Final. Wangaratta Magpies have just been stripped of their premiership because of salary cap breaches.

Ben ****ing Reid. We revere Presti, because before the 2010 GF he went up to Mick and said Mick "I'm not right to play. I'm a spud who can't kick or mark." And we went on to win the flag, due to Presti not being there to **** up. 2011 Grand Final, Ben Reid puts his hand up and says, "I'm right to play." Then single handledly goes on to lose us the Grand Final. Although in fairness Reid learnt his lesson and never again claimed to be right to play.

Maybe by years end it will achieve enlightenment and be elevated to a Mr Whippy’s. For all concerned though, let’s hope it doesn’t digress to soft serve, as the end will be nigh…..

anyone who is a pie fan will know that the tough times always last far longer than the brief periods of sunny skies.

by season's end or even sooner, pie fans might be rushing to the game day threads to vent their anger and frustration....and it will left to this thread to bring sense to it all...to point out those who are to blame.

Thus we get to take it a bit easier for the time being. But we remain vigilant, warning all about the hyphenated squib and the weedy ranga, as well as that moronic blonde bloke. I get suspicious when things are going too good... I dont like the feeling... I have no idea why pie fans are jumping up and down and counting nick daicos brownlow votes as if they mean something. Who friggin cares if he is named in the team of the universe?

We had some nice wins last year. I had a good time. It was good beating carlton like we did. I loved the essendon win..... but in the end, we lost in the finals and the fly failed.... he failed...

what do we say "nice try fly man"...."well done blowie".....

We're not going to win this thing until we clear the decks of all the wimps and wokes..... we need to get enough mongrels in the team to make a certainty of the finals BY ANY MEANS POSSIBLE.

You need to find your own niche. Last time I looked that was crossing the white line & using the whipping thread to bolster your petty disagreements with the rif raf. This mob would like to see me out the door solely because I am doing a fine job of herding cats.

There is an old saying, you can lead a horse to water but you have to shoot the horse to get its head in the water. Let me assure you, burying a horse is not easy. You have fallen for the same trap inhabited by this mob, you think your job is to whip & are questioning the meaning if your existence. Your job right now is to carefully examine the cattle, who is slackening off, who is attempting to front run. Even some of the rif raff are astute enough to recognisevwhat whe is up to.

What we don't want is the careful, detailed analysis of this thread pitfall into the slagging off thread. Idle whipping for whippings sake becomes like that flavoured cordial you are peddling as gelato.

Whipping the Oxford English Dictionary.

After reviewing the upcoming Game Day thread on the Richmond Board re: Pies v Tigers, it is obvious that the Oxford English Dictionary (OED) has some serious errors.

Currently, OED state that the verb "To Lose", relates to: "A Loss", "We Have Lost", etc

However based on the input from the Scholars and Professors from Punt Road, apparently the correct terminology is as follows:

- "Reckon we'll loose it at the selection table"

- " Collingwood are perennial Loosers"

- " We will Loose"


Please, Oxford English Dictionary - get your spelling RIGHT!!!
