Not at all, he wasn't an employee of the Eagles so didn't have access to the building. Its not like he was offered a contract from Carlton went to negotiate and was escorted off the property. Your scenario is not at all similar.

People have to remember Peter Sumich is a local Spearwood/Munster boy. He’s got a lot of fam/friends who are probably members on here.

I don't know him personally but he's a goal kicking legend who can analyse kicking faults and has and is working successfully with some local players.
For the club to ignore him when no one else is improving the player's goal kicking is narrow minded and arrogant. And as well as technique we also need effective training drills that aren't happening.
As far as being a has been, rubbish.
You should try speaking to some of the young Claremont guys who have Percy Robinson helping them. They are full of admiration and respect for his ability to analyse and advise and at 86 years of age keeping up with the modern game is no problem for him.

While you are on Sumich conspiracy theories; does anyone think Suma/Lyon situation could have had something to do with Tim Kelly's reluctance to go to Freo last year? His manager has super strong ties to South Freo (I think he is/was on the board) and Sumich is South Freo royalty.

He has but i'd argue he has never had all our best forward options fit and next year, if he can get all of tabs, Hogan, walters, Lobb and matera in the same forward line he will have a bit to work with

A shakeup is definitely needed and probably on the cards...maybe , I'm guessing it depends on whether Belly gets his way...
I kinda wanna give Ross Lyon the last year to see if he can right the ship....but maybe that's another year of wasting the talent of the list???

Seriously we need a clean out in the administration, S&C and pretty much every coach including RL who’s had his go..time for something new.
Peter Bell obviously stays.
Silvagni as list manager..really!...don’t we have enough GWS peeps.
If Brad Hill, Ed, Tucker whoever else!! Wants out..Get rid of them. Lets keep players that actually want to be here and bleed purple.

I'm not on the AFL club's coach selection panel, so I can't say. It's a shame that others in the same position don't take the same approach, instead of making uninformed and ridiculous claims like it's because he spoke out about Lyon's sexual harassment issue.
Have you got a source that supports your claim that he's tried out for an AFL head coaching position every year for the last 10 years? Or is that just heresay, like the other thing?

I didn't say he tried every year, it was reported quite a few times over the years of all the jobs he went for, it probably got to the stage he stopped applying as he was sick of getting rejected. Anyway I think there is more chance of Brad Hardie coaching the Dockers than Sumich so not really worth people still constantly bringing his name up.
