I think we've finally got the Fudger!

We Got Him GIF
Lets be honest - that is no big thing ...

Right but uve been telling all of us that the only reason we finished above the Pies is because of our easy fixture and double ups vs bottom 4 teams...

We had 2 more wins vs top 4 teams and 1 more win vs bottom 4 teams than the Pies... I wonder which was more impactful?
Quick, JustaBattler - he used 'we' when referring to Carlton!

Seems you accidentally 'liked' his post, instead of asking him what role he had in the team....

Hypothet.

Yeah.

Because based on finals performances in recent seasons, the likes of N. Daicos, De Goey, Crisp, Mitchell, Pendlebury, J. Daicos and Sidebottom struggle with finals type contested pressure...
None of these contested beasts ( LOL) were good enough to even make finals Fudgee- or have you forgotten already...??

Obviously a typo wherea as in your case it is a belief based on delusion.

Just good enough to win a flag the previous year.

Something Carlton can't even dream of, let alone make a reality.

I'd have a semblance of respct for that flukey flag if it wasnt proven to be a fluke - couldnt even make finals in 2024.

lolworthy

ah yes Carlton wont be a contender in 2025 - says you Fudgey..

of course what a contender is is all up to Fudgey to decide innit?

LOL

Again, congratulations on your, or should I say 'Carlton's', year for the ages!
So Carlton finished above the pathetic Pies because they did better against top 4 teams than the them? Not because of their record against bottom 4?

Come on Fudgey... Just say u were talking out ur ass and wrong about everything and we can all move on! Ur so close!

That's nice.

Because Carlton give us absolutely no reason to have a semblance of respect for anything they've done in recent times.

You wil never respect a Carlton anything- but the fear in you is strong...

A fairer critique...if you think those stats are important.

In 2022 and 2023 Pies were bottom 6 for contested possessions, hard ball gets, and centre clearances...in 2024 we actually were slightly better at "contested possessions" and centre clearances.

Fly coached Collingwood teams don't seem to win much "contested" ball.

The joe the goose fly "game plan" has been found out buddy - hence the no finals in 2024...

gotto be able to win teh hard ball to get it to your powerhosue team of 15 players who can all kcik 20 goals a season and take turns doing it..

Dont tell me you are a buyer of Fudgee rithmetic ?

Which draw is considered harder I wonder?

6 games vs Bottom 4
7 games vs Top 4
10 games vs Middle 10

Or

4 games vs Bottom 4
5 games vs Top 4
14 games vs Middle 10

🤔
What is with the arbitrary cut offs?

5th Brisbane
6th West Bulldogs
7th Hawks

All had better % than 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

An easy fixture is why Port finished 2nd last year. Playing Port wasn't a tougher game than Brisbane after Brisbane woke up.

And bottom 4, Adelaide had a % of 99 they were miles better than Richmond.

A much better approach is to actually tally up wins of dbl up opponents or use avg % to indicate fixture difficulty.

Absolute nonsense to try and group Adelaide with Richmond, or to group Brisbane with Gold Coast which is what you have done.

Respective DBL UP opponents

Carl v Coll

Port 16 win %114 v Sydney 17 win %126
Geel 15 win %112 v Brisbane 14 win %122
GWS 15 win %109 v Hawks 14 win %118
Coll 12 win %102 v Carl 13 win %110
North 3 win %63 v Melb 11 win %98
Rich 2 win %63 v Ess 11 win %93

Pies opponents won 80 H&A games, much higher % (best indicator of quality) and then 7 finals

Baggers opponents won 63 H&A games and just 2 finals.

Only a Bagger would compare the pair and think they had a tough fixture...because they group Brisbane with Gold Coast 🤣🤣

Listen up....how abvout you go through the fixture NOW for both sides and tell everyone who has teh easy run ahead of the results ...instead of makeyuppy after the fact stories you read to each otehr as you huddle together in the shade away from teh heat of the mexican sun?

Just a thought..

PS I even bothered to put the first 13 games up for your lot previously and got ZERO commentary despite all teh whining about the 2025 fixture from your already give up on 2025 season supporters.
