As would De Goey and J Daics but they weren’t listed as ‘star’ players

Darcy Moore was down last season but is a multiple AA, so it’s laughable to include Weitering and not Moore.
Try focusing on 2024 mate, Weitering a class shead of Moore.

Try focussing on 2025, where Moore goes in with superior exposed form to everyone but Cripps on your list.

Hate to admit it but Cripps has Moore covered for strength, leadership, one on one, maybe not aerial contests and intercepts, but frankly you could make a case he's close.

Beautiful specimen.

Superior exposed form from when? Moore is a good intercept defender but very average at defending.

He's a better defender over his career than any current Blue. He's a better leader than any current Blue aside from Cripps.

Weitering has had one great season, and you rightly signed him up because those blokes are hard to find and Tassie will come knocking for everybody's stars, but also because your defensive stocks are so low.

Your best players are mid paced attacking mids and tall forwards. Weitering and Saad need help. We could use another tall defender, everyone could, but you need more defenders.

Boyd, Cowan and Billy Wilson are good and young running backs, Young was our best player in our last game I'm sure they'll do something in the draft and other sources before next season.

It's good you're addressing this.

Pies traditionally start with an ironclad defence and try to add mids and forwards. This has been true from Matthews to MM to Bucks.

Murphy a big loss for you guys during the season.

Interesting flex that you're announcing a 'return' to being an off-field powerhouse as a result of now being bracketed with 4 other clubs (including Collingwood of course) as teams who receive the minimum additional funding from the AFL.

But to be a real powerhouse, like Collingwood, you need the on-field results to match...

Only thing the Pies are a powerhouse at is losing Grand Finals

Weitering one great season? Please you are frying my brain. The lack of awareness of other teams is astonishing

Whilst your team won two games and finished 18th.

Yes, it is disappointing as a Collingwood supporter when our team doesn't contend for a premiership.

I guess whilst we do it most years, we can't expect to do it EVERY year.
What has 2018 got to do with it? You finished 9th in 2024.
