"Con" - tenders , abacuses, and references to self serving historical periods - "modern" game -

so much spin from the dirty birders refusing to embrace their obvious mediocrity and Mexico.

oh well - they can look forward to chest puffing about a flukey win in a couple of games against an injury plagued team and Club as the high point of their reigning premiers defense

"but but but we beeach yaz"

what a comedy routine I am reading..

oh and the "we just mizzed out by a few percentages as if teh dirty birders just invented - just missing out by a few percentages as a thing...

oh and if Carlton have some injoorieeez they will lose some games and be bottom 4 for sure...from teh same bloke who reckons injooreeez are irrelevant ...

LOL

LoL

The Carlton team that went 0-2 to Collingwood in 2024 would have been embarassed by even more.

Carlton under Crippa can only beat Collingwood if it is a dead rubber for the Pies.

And to help out Bagger fans, a final aint a dead rubber.
dead rubber abacus and modern game...
lol at you dirty birds and your "limited" vocab.

Yep.

I rate the St. Kilda 2009/10 team as comfortably in the top 10 teams since the turn of the century.

Carlton's best team since the turn of the century is this current one - back to back finals qualifiers, with 2 finals wins in 2023! But this team wouldn't be in the top 150 teams we've seen since the turn of the century.
St Kilda and Collingwood down south in 2024, that's how the current situation stands.

Imagine punching down on the Saints as desperate as it gets

The 21st century is still current.

Probability that Carlton doesn't win a premiership in the 21st century?

Let me check my abacus...

But I'll tell you as a start.... it's infinitely more probable than Collingwood not winning a premiership in the 21st century.
Ned Guys abacus?

Who will be Better in 2025, Collingwood or Carlton?

Until then, enjoy the tacos

Ironic too considering Carlton have been the Saints bitches this century.
Oh no.

Carlton's record against St. Kilda since the turn of the century:
11 wins
25 losses

This includes a 12 game losing streak.

Finals Played:
Carlton - 11
St Kilda - 20

So basically St. Kilda - the team that Carlton supporters have been trying to punch down on in this thread - have been twice as good as them this century.

Oh boy.

Didn't they win NINETEEN games in a row or something? Blues can't even finish top 4 just once

Yes - 19 games in a row in 2009.

Carlton's longest winning streak this century - 9 games.

Yet another statistic that sees St. Kilda TWICE as good as Carlton since the turn of the century.

Fadge what is the probability of a team not finishing top 4 for 24 years?
That is a very good question you ask there, Corny.

It's so unlikely, it's actually barely possible to do, particularly in this era of equalisation.

If every team starts each season with an equal chance of making top 4, there is actually less than 0.2% probability of a team not making the top 4.

But if we consider Carlton's perennial incompetence, that probability increases to 5.3%.

So this century it's:
Head to head: Saints 25, Carlton 11
Grand finals played: Saints 2; Carlton 0
Top 4 finishes Saints 5, Carlton 1
Wooden spoons collected: Saints 1, Carlton 5.
Yeah I can see why Carlton fans feel superior to the Saints🤣.

I think that level of shitness might be outside the safety parameters of Fadge's Abacus. It could lead to an explosion if he tries to run those numbers
Nah. My abacus can calculate anything and everything. Even that highly improbable scenario that surely couldn't possibly occur in this era of equalisation.

Who finished the highest in 2024 mate, Carlton, St Kilda or Collingwood?

Oh no, yet another fail for Robertio

Let's check out the teams in question respective records against one another:
1. St Kilda v Collingwood/Carlton - 2 wins, 0 losses
2. Collingwood v. St. Kilda/Carlton - 2 wins, 1 loss
3. Carlton v. Collingwood/St. Kilda - 0 wins, 3 losses

But I expect we'll get a response about moral victories, injuries, and the standard drivel.

You're not very good at this, are you?

You completely ignored my question and went your own way again, you're are crap at this and everytime you change the subject is a victory to us the underdogs.
