The fixture shows how shitter teams finish in front other teams, despite going 0-2 against them
You couldn't beat Essendon and Adelaide mate, had nothing to do with the fixture.

Insane to me that Carlton yet again gets an incredible fixture but I really shouldn't be surprised, especially how the umpires mysteriously favour them in close games.

Carlton will finish higher end of H&A, Pies will finish higher after finals.
Umpires favouring Carlton "in close games" is peak comedy

We beat Adelaide.
If you're gonna use facts as some kind of "burn" make sure you get them right otherwise you look like a 🤡.
Can't win them all but you get my drift, there were teams you should've beaten and didn't, that's why you didn't play finals and the draw had nothing to do with it.

Of course. Because every team that played finals didn't lose a single game against teams they should have beaten...

And I'm sure Carlton would have preferred to have played Sydney twice (as Collingwood did), than Richmond twice (as Carlton did).

But the 'fixture' had nothing to do with the eventual ladder...

If we are talking preferences I would have preferred not to play 7 games (equal highest in the comp) against the eventual top 4 but we don't always get what we want unfortunately.

So GWS were amongst the 'eventual top 4' were they?

Because we've been told for the past 14 months that the ladder is updated after finals.

Interesting...

That makes Brisbane the fifth best team in 2024.

I'm talking about fixturing solely in the home and away season. Giants were a top 4 team in the H+A.

Carlton.

The AFL in all its bias has again kissed them on the proverbial and rewarded them with a soft draw not befitting their position because clearly the AFL needs to meddle as much as possible by finding any advantage it can give to them. No five day breaks when other teams have 2, gifted double ups against North and WCE (Curnow will therefore win the Coleman easily) and you could go on.

Either way, hopefully Collingwood will be better.

Yes, the AFL has done so much to help Carlton in the last 20 years...
