'Collingwood 1st to 10'
'Carlton 9th to 17th'
'Blues ahead'

And I can't be wrong because there is a viable option in my prediction!
It's a very inelegant way of presenting it - you could say it more clearly and with fewer words - but the prediction could come true.

Love it how its grey skies & the clock is ticking for Carlton because our 'top 6' are 'in their prime' at the ages of 24-29, whilst Collingwood are banking on their 32+ yr olds to improve them.

Yeah, no double standards or contradictions there.

1. Carlton haven't contended for a premiership in more than two decades. If not now, when?

2. Collingwood have objectively improved their list by bringing in Houston and Perryman, after winning a premiership 14 months ago.

Oh boy.

Well it's evidently clear the Carlton posters aren't Rocket Scientists....

Statement #1: 'Carlton and Collingwood to both finish in the 5th to 8th range';
Statement #2: 'Carlton to finish higher than Collingwood'.

So....

What if:
1. Collingwood finish 5th?
Or
2. Carlton finish 8th?
Then the prediction is wrong, but not by a whole lot.

Ah well they've set the table now, truth is they don't have any young guns so whoever they get at 3 or 4 will probably be their best young player, exciting!!

Yep after this draft Carlton might finally have an under 23 player to be excited about.
They were super excited about Paddy Dow at the time too.

I'd be concerned about Carlton if they were able to get the likes of Papley in the door a couple of years ago, and Houston this year, with their top 6 in their prime.

Alas, it wasn't to be.
We could've got Houston we didn't want him, a very good player but not a matchwinner. Pies main recruit wanted to play for Carlton, how funny is that.

LOL we don't have any young guns that you can see, cast an eye over the Pies to see if there's any young guns over there.

Not at the cost Pies gave up

Imagine stating you want to play for Carlton even before playing a single game for the Mexican Ducks

You guys reckon Daicos is shit so no point listing any others
I've never said he is shit and left him out because he is already a gun but that's only one i can see.

Breaking new ground here with P Dow.
No different to Freeman and scharenberg both top 10 picks. Actually, Dow better value than both of those schmuks
Irrelevant Wormy. We didn't mortgage everything on a pimply faced 18 year old. You guys did... Somehow thinking it will "move the needle" in the short term🤣

They just want another marquee player to keep their "Individual Awards Dynasty" going, shredded their depth for it
