I noticed that mate , on and on it goes , in the chorus of Cindy Lauper. “ time after time , if your lost , you can look , you will find me. Insert Carlton logo here :)
They’ve got that much time to spare they’ve waited for 30 years to start talking about being any good. Now if only we could see some actions..

My prediction is Jagga (ahead of Levi, who is not available to Carlton) will deliver the most of any new draftees in 2025, but there will likely be others with more upside over the medium/long term (higher risk/higher reward).

Interesting decision for the Blues tonight.
Poor kid, I hope he refuses to play for them.

10 players over 30 and 4 over 33 how does the song go " I Believe In Yesterday"

I see you have Carlton in the bottom 6 . Will you be wrong about Carlton missing the finals for the 3rd year in a row?
Carlton have snuck into the finals by the skin of their teeth the past two seasons, the last of which they had no right being there.

The back half of 2023 for Carlton was the exception, not the rule.

Where was the Pies action this season? 1st to 9th, they all needed a parachute the drop was so big.

What rubbish. No team deserved to push Carlton out of the finals. It is a 23 game season, every game counts equally and percentage matters as we found out in 2022. If you are good enough you make it.

I am interested to hear your prediction on how the geriatric list at Collingwood will place this year.

Indeed.

Unfortunately every game does count equally, regardless of whether it is a double up game against 2 win Richmond, or a double up game against 18 win Sydney.

Pies to contend for the premiership again. We're due - it's been a whole year since the last time we did so.

How much of your predictions are based on the past, or is that all you base them on?

How much forecasting do you do in your predictions and what, if anything, does that forecasting involve?
Natural improvement of individuals and playing groups, a cultural "shift" of clubs, in the way they do things differently to the past, is there a change in leadership, within the club's 4 walls. How much effect, if any does that have? Onset of new/fresh talent?

Just curious really because most of your posts about how we will do in the next year and beyond seem to involve a great deal about the past.
