Naicos had 27 contested and 18 clearances that game too... unheard of. Bont took over cos Naicos was rooted just trying to keep his side close and had to have a rest.

A lot of them gave Crippa BOG and rightfully so. Unfortunately, in a deciding match between the two candidates Farcical Fly decided to award 5 charity votes to golden boy despite not being near the best player on the ground that game.

Crippa ended up being cheated out of the award by 4 votes... Peculiar that if you deducted Fly's embarrassing display of favouritism Crippa wins the award.

Many people rate Dustin Martin as one of the best players since the turn of the century, and it's not because of his home and away performances.

I have him as circa top 10, but if you exclude finals performances, he'd be circa top 30 to 40.

And they're the names that were raised in the Daicos thread as players who had as good/better seasons at the same age.
