Yep, he's cooked. What protocols are in place to ensure this kind of trade does not happen? Surely someone questioned it!!!!!!!!!!!???????????
We will, but these decisions have lasting effects on the squad for years. I.e. Mayne, he has barely been given opportunities in his first year.
We have 3 years of waste to go, all the way through to the end of Pendlebury's peak years.

Future 2nd could be pick 25 in a strong 2018 draft. Swans 3rd round likely to be pick 50+.
Such a terrible deal for someone playing in a league below VFL standard. Sell rebounding Marley Williams for pick 105 then buy a rookie for a 2nd rd pick!
Combine this deal with the Mayne deal and length of Wells deal... along with recent deals of questionable length for Crocker, Wills, Sier. And the promotion of Keeffe so early in last years preseason.
List management looks desperate and drunken. Watch them make a mess of pick 6 somehow.... choose a ruck forward or another inside mid

Other than Grundy, we have not netted a gun first round pick since Pendlebury or Thomas (2005). 12 years. That stinks.

i kept waiting for a correction, that it had been incorrectly reported. But nope, we actually just used 2018's 2nd rounder on an uncapped rookie listed player. Lunacy. Thank god it's almost November, i'm so mad I don't want to hear or see the name Collingwood for a long time. Derek Hine, it's hard to think that you're anything other than a complete moron right now.

Last year it was Gubby with Mayne now it's this year with Hine. This is why I wanted us to do nothing this trade period.
