Ohhh David Gallagher was harshly treated I reckon. That guy couldn't do anything right. If the cat had kittens it would have been his fault.

No mention of Nick Gill? Absolute hack, couldn't stand him, played one good game against what was basically Essendon's reserve side and took a screamer but that was it.
Fantastic screamer in the wet.
Possibly the worst kick we've had as well. Never seen a guy shin so many kicks.
For a slightly different challenge.. how about naming the worst player to ever earn a place on Adelaide's senior list.
What we've seen above is a list of players who actually went as far as playing for Adelaide. I'm guessing that the worst one to ever appear on Adelaide's list wasn't even good enough to make an AFL debut. Odds are they never even got out of the SANFL magoos.
Suggestions?

A few names come to mind {ben finnin, chad gibson, adam ugrinic, greg dempsey & ben parker}
also a couple that deserve a mention as the worst to be seen in an adelaide guernsey fergus watts and tom gilligan
I can definitely see Finnin being mentioned. I thought Gibson had talent, but his body was way too fragile and his attitude to rehab apparently left a bit to be desired.

Judging by previous posts on this board I think most of you guys would say Daniel Schell, so excluding him, who do you think has been the worst player ever to wear the Crows tri-colours?
There are plenty of contenders I feel - Chris Groom, Josh Mail, Tom Gilligan, Adam Saliba (remember him?).
Sorry if a thread like this has been done previously. I only discovered big footy last week (and loving it).
I think as Crows supporters we should lay off Chris Groom.
The guy was a goal kicking machine who was badly managed by Failmantle. He kicked 18 goals in 7 games, but dropped 4 times. What did he do? He kicked 70 goals in 14 games for West Perth winning them a flag. He then went to North at their peak but did his knee, twice.
I think history has shown Chris Groom was only poor in comparison to who he was traded for. He was a fine player.
The others you mentioned, all shite.
My pick, Randall Bone.
I'm sure they played games.. just not for the AFC.. and probably not for their respective SANFL league teams either.

The competition's over folks. This guy was a red-headed pasty-legged dud who was tall but couldn't play it and slower than a ruptured duck.
5 years on an AFL list for zero games.
Possibly the worst example of list management of any of the AFL clubs.
Smith & Kirey both worthy candidates. I assume Smith spent much of his 5-years playing SANFL league level. Did Kirey ever get out of the magoos?
Did we have more than one Begley? The one I remember played some games for the Crows and wasn't that bad.

He was the guy that Byron Pickett cleaned up while over the ball and got 6 games. Decent player but retired early due to injury I think.

Angwin was probably our worst player from a relative point of view.
He was close to (if not) our highest ever draft pick and he never even played a game for us. At least several of the other players on this thread were late draft picks. Angwin was a #7 pick that we didn't even get a game out of.
On the plus side, we got rid of him before he could take down any of his teammates with him, like he did at Carlton.
