The death rate really isn’t important at the moment though.

The diagnostics will be an ongoing process, it just needs tweaking.

Folks (not you, you're arguably the best poster in the thread) have an unrealistic understanding about how this typically evolves. FFS, we only identified the existence of this thing ~ 16-20 weeks ago, and then we needed to obtain significant initial symptomatic and diagnostic data in order to model the identification diagnostics in the first place, and this is a slippery sucker replication wise, as viruses go.

The CT's have typically jumped all over this aspect and dismissed it far too quickly in order to give a false reinforcement of their woo woo crap.

BS - you are almost all of you heavily invested and some hopelessly.
When you are instigating unprecedent drastic measure, you would expect incontrovertible data by now.

The only conclusion to draw is that - whilst everyone may have meant well - they over cooked the assessment and ****ed up.
As I say, no problem with that - we can learn lessons from this - but we are now witnessing denial. The Doctors leading the charge have got a taste of fame and they aren't going to let it go in a hurry. All those experts who predicted armageddon don't want to risk being told they were wrong and being ridiculed. Senior Government figures are too scared to go against there advise and so we are in this twilight zone of indecision without direction.

Now that's my spooky Conspiracy Theory. It doesn't include a bio-war, it doesn't cast aspersions at William Virus Gates, G5 Towers, or some dystopian horror.
People simply over-reacted, thinking it was the right thing to do, they encouraged fear for our own good. They made the wrong call. It could have been the right call but not this time.

Right now our hospitals are empty, suicide, bankruptcy, depression, anxiety... and who knows whatever other crap is up up up.

You asked someone to debunk it. I gave you a couple of examples, which you now ignore with snide comments. Why not address the point?

I think anyone reading a source should be skeptical and consider it's likelihood of being correct. The sources you provided are of low quality. I provided far more sources just a couple of pages ago, from a variety of sources, that counter the "just the flu" agenda.

This suggests they are not too far away from flipping the narrative by questioning the ongoing restriction/lock-down measures which is 'destroying Aussie businesses and peoples livelihoods', is an 'abuse of human rights', 'defies basic civil liberties' because, 'locking up healthy people is a form of tyranny' etc. etc.

Interesting you should bring that up, because the conflict with China is ratcheting up. Some of the language coming from a variety of US sources is as extreme as we have seen. It's sobering to consider how WW1 was triggered following a single assassination by an unknown Serbian separatist.
