This men's rumble hasn't been good.

I said the Bayley win was predictable - but it doesn't make it wrong. That was predictable done right, playing with the tropes and giving us some fun along the way.

This is predictable done all wrong. If you'd given me the list of entrants from 1-30, I reckon I could've given you the order of eliminations and I wouldn't have been far off. No surprises is a bummer, things like Macafee just make you question your suspension of disbelief. How did he get in the rumble ahead of a bunch of other superstars apparently without knowing? And what a waste of a spot.

These final 2 sequences have become increasingly turgid over the last decade. It's not epic, it's just annoying.
