Reigns is the number 1 star in wrestling at the moment hands down.
Even his little mention of sports entertainment was great.

Rollins and Edge was one of the better matches I've seen in a while, the little homage to HHH with the pedigree spot was a nice touch too. Loved Rollins facial expressions after the win, had me convinced for a moment that he was legitimately hurt.

Agree with ULTIMATE_WARRIOR, RE Edge vs Rollins on SD being better than the Summerslam match.

At least Edge had the courtesy to do 1 live appearance to help write him off tv for another period until the next big ppv.
Cena did all the rah rah rah, I'm here for all of you, loses his summerslam match, and again disappears until Mania/maybe Saudi.
Goldberg has clearly been written off only to avoid the next meaningless ppv, but back for Saudi.

And the fact Roman has 2 feuds going, says to me Balors there just to give him something to do at the next meh ppv (and throw Balor a "please don't also go" bone), then Brock shortly later, again in Saudi.

It's laughable that wwe puts together such a good and important show, solely because it's at a certain venue. I'd be pissed off next week when I'm at some shit hole town, and there's no brock, no edge, no "this is important" feel

Umm-- John Cena actively said in his promos in the build to the Summerslam match that he wouldn't be staying afterwards. He said that he'd take the Universal Championship to Hollywood and wouldn't be back until Wrestlemania.

So what happens at AEW if CM Punk doesn’t wrestle at least once a week or fortnightly and just appears for promos or commentary?

It’s funny that in AEW wrestles appear sporadically and people praise it saying it keeps things fresh but if WWE have people that wrestle sporadically also it’s completely different?
