laziest booking ever. just named the men's and women's Survivor Series teams on twitter.

Rollins/Owens/Balor/Rey/Dominik (RAW) vs McIntyre/Hardy/Woods/Zayn/Corbin (SD)
Bianca/Rhea/Liv/Carmella/Zelina (RAW) vs Sasha/Shayna/Shotzi/Natalya/Aliyah (SD)

RAW's entire Men's team just moved from SD

Hey! Nakumara has a title belt.. you cant put him and Cesaro on the same page.

Also Nakumara is older than Cesaro IIRC as his prime was back in Japan.
If people think Cesaro should’ve been the world champ then Nakamura should’ve had it as well.

My point was just because fans aren’t happy because these people aren’t pushed in the main event doesn’t mean the wrestlers aren’t happy where they are.

That’s the problem when you hold the draft so close to survivor series, they should go back to having a fued vs fued instead when the draft is so close

I don't agree with Cesaro being a world champion, dude is a solid upper midcard guy who should have at least held the IC Title at one point but he had no personality or acting skills, two things you need to be a world champion.

I'd prefer him to be a transitional champion. Much better than a miz or mahal

Better than Mahal maybe, I wouldn't say he's a better option than Miz though. Miz has charisma and acting chops which gives him the edge.

you are a hot take machine
In a world where a large majority of internet fans are into the guys who put on the best matches and care more about the workrate, yeah I'm absolutely in the minority. How good a guy is in the ring doesn't matter to me, obviously I wanna see a good match, but I'd rather see a 5 minute match with a great build up and great promos during the build than a 30 minute "barn-burner" with ok build. I'm mainly just more drawn to the better actors than the better in-ring guys.

Is Kofi not a good character guy?

I agree with most of this except I need to be able to believe they can or would win a fight. And majority of wrestlers i can't these days.

I meant cesaro is more believable as a champion than those too

I think alot of people don't connect with the whole unicorn thing. And all the other wierd Japanese cartoons there into

A lot?
The crowds didn't seem to mind.

I'm not saying people don't connect. I'm sure alot of kids and teenagers do. I sont know if a lot of adults do though. I'm a Kofi fan since day 1 so not trying to have a go or anything. BUT I dont like whole new day thing

Honestly I don't think he's that good of a character guy, but a lot of that comes down to the New Day being fairly stale over the last few years for me, he's cut a good promo here and there but I don't think he's consistent enough to be considered a good character guy. I think Kofi was a lot better before the New Day with his whole "trouble in paradise" gimmick, because it was actually a character.

Ah I see my mistake, but I do agree, there should be a level of believability when watching two guys wrestle.

Maybe you should give movies a try?
I appreciate an alternative view as much as the next guy but your views are way out there MM. Like, way out there.

I'm just more drawn to larger than life characters, always have been. I need wrestlers to have personality in order to like them, if you have no personality, why should I bother giving them the time of day? I don't think it's that far out there at all, it's just a different aspect of wrestling to enjoy.

Why do you feel it's so far out there to value charisma and promo skills higher than in-ring skills?

I mean he's not entirely wrong though , workrate is cool and all but if they're boring as batshit and don't tell a story what's the point in watching ?

If people value work rate above characters then they should watch amatuer wrestling.

I feel people overhyped how much people care about the workrate, sure it's popular with people online, but fans talking about it online in forums are likely in the minority. I guarantee most of the fans in attendance don't care for the most part about the in ring psychology of the wrestlers, they just wanna be entertained.

If all the fans cared about was good wrestling then Chad Gable would be one of the guys coming out to huge pops every week, but he gets crickets because he's boring outside of the ring.

Apart from being in the company so long why did he deserve it ?

Consistently strong fan reactions, part of truly one of the best tag teams/factions of... the milennium?
I'm not saying he deserves a John Cena status, but he had absolutely earned a run as WWE champ.

In fairness, Chad Gable was never really given the opportunity to show what got him over in NXT.
You reckon Jason Jordan was the charismatic one?

Jordan wasn't charismatic at the start but before he got injured and he was doing the delusional son of Kurt Angle gimmick I thought he was pretty good, his acting skills came a long way and I reckon he'd have become a great heel once they transitioned him into that role. Gable was originally more charismatic but Jordan passed him after a while.
