This era has really killed my interest in footy.
Without the optimism there’s not really much to get into year on year.

It was inevitable the second we signed Hinkley before the finals. Pressure off. Straight sets exit.
Completely unacceptable. If there is any accountability at the club, both the board and Hinkley step down.

GWS left the door open a number of times and we refused to take the opportunity. If we take our chances in front of goal we probably win it but when do we do that under Ken come finals time?
That thing is, most of this team is cooked, back, forward and in the ruck. There will be a further decline next seaaon. We were lucky with a bunch of wins, we will not be as lucky next year.
We will most likely miss the 8 after a disappointing finals exit this year and once again our spineless board will make excuses for Ken rather than sacking him because that would admit they made a mistake. Can't take that kind of hit to the ego.
So we will suffer again as teams pass us by, another year will be lost and we will be called white noise or any other random assortment of names for pointing out the continual failure of this team.
At some point it has to end, I only hope that maybe with all the discussion around Ken this year, with all the points we have made, that maybe some actual discussion will happen around this fraud but who are we kidding. Who gives a shit about us at any point outside of Ken's contract year?

Geez it's gonna be so much fun watching 2 other teams running around the MCG on grand final day for the 16th year in a row........
Frauds from top to bottom.
Dining out on the past work of players and administrators. More interested in story telling and the 90sec clip on the webpage of what an honour it is to play for this club.
Add another couple of names to the must go list and that's Cripps and Parker. Our list is ****ing horrid!
It's full of C graders and guys with massive holes in their games, not to mention a complete lack of desire and killer attitude needed to win when it counts. This is not only eveident in the AFL team but it's even more obvious in the SANFL team.
There isn't a single guy in the SANFL side I think would be anything more than a bottom 5 or so player even if they make it at AFL level.
And once again tonight we got to see Hinkley under pressure and it wasn't a pretty sight. No moves, no motivation, barely an adjustment, just the old "I'll have faith" with is code for I haven't got a clue and I'm too scare to try anything.
Just like Koch they hide behind doing nothing as being wise and measured but it's just two old guys who don't know but like playing the pretend game as it's good for the egos.
A putrid club that was no right whatsoever to call itself the PAFC.

If we just had a coach the could instill the right mindset, the mindset for consistent, hard Port footy and mental toughness, this team would be playing like champions again.

I don't get why we want to move Bergman up the field, he should be our no.1 mid/small defender. Ditch Burton and hope Jones improves.
