Im not just saying it because he is kicking poorly today, and no doubt the guy is a star, but as soon as he gets the ball within 60 he turns the blinkers on.

No not really. Carey was a more reliable kick.Seriously, why would you pass it when the rest of your team wont pass it to them.
Hawthorn/Franklin in 2008 remind me of North/Carey in 1990/91.
Who cares if he is a tool. Wont affect the enjoyment Hawthorn supporters get from watching him from the stands. You wouldnt know Everitt,Fevola and Crawford were ***** except that they appear on the Footy Show.

I would hope for your flag chances Buddy starts becoming a little wiser with his decision making though. He's still too self absorbed and could be much more valuable to the team if he brought his team mates into the game more often.
We'll see if all this huge media beat up improves his mentality or diminishes it.
