Just watched Hartung's highlights. Geez he loves to take the game on. Good little player.

Agreed. Hartung looks awesome. I wouldnt mind if we picked up Acres or Hartung then take four key position players with the two remaining draft picks and two rookie listed selections (after we pick Lester-Smith).

Hartung moves like a slender version of Swan for mine. That big engine as evidenced by his beep test is also gonna be useful with the new interchange rules.

I'll let you in on a little secret, those blokes don't know shit from clay.

They are the mushrooms of the football world, fed shit and kept in the dark.

They are told what clubs want them to hear so they go and do exactly what your "source" has done, spread disinformation and create confusion.

If any agent tells you they know the draft order or where the cards will fall, they're a dead set liar.

I am sure in part what you have asserted is true. The guy was not proclaiming he new the draft, rather with respect to Freo McCarthy was unlikely due to high levels of interest of clubs with earlier picks and there had been a lot of interest in acres. That's about it.

With Freo its more like they will take Acres/Sheed/McCarthy depending which one makes it to their pick not that Acres will be the one as none of them might make it and then who knows who they will pick. Also some clubs you can take their word on who they will select at a pick if available and other just bullshit.

Gotcha, so Freo have absolutely NO interest in Acres whatsoever.

Interesting comment about Marsh from Callum Twomey
This one is a bit more speculative. Marsh is an unpredictable prospect who does things others could only dream of: running 2.78 seconds over 20 metres, having blistering speed, an ability to clunk marks and boot the ball a mile. But as a slightly undersized key forward the West Australian also has some flaws, with his footy nous lacking and his kicking sometimes wayward.
Where does he go? Who knows? A number of clubs have ruled themselves out of taking him, but one should take a chance. If he's there at pick 55 Essendon might consider.
At 17 We have been linked with Hartung, Acres, Apeness, Taylor and Zak Jones.... And McCarthey, if he slips.

pick 55 far---k me I would think he is a top 30.

Firstly, Callum Twomey is hopeless.

However, that is the common opinion on Marsh - available late second/third round. But he represents this draft as a whole - someone will rate him top 20, someone else will rate him as a rookie. Personally, I rate him top 20. So, in a draft lacking talent/depth, I feel somene will still go early with him.
