Your bogey team and the team you have the wood over

3 sides that we have winning records over in the last 5 years are considered bogey teams, it's been good to support Geelong.

What about all the teams we have the wood over? :D

Hawthorn - 9 wins in a row
Melbourne - 8 wins in a row
Richmond - 15 wins from the last 16 games (current streak 8 wins)
Port Adelaide - 11 wins from the last 12 games (current streak 7 wins)
Western Bulldogs - 9 wins from the last 10 games (current streak 5 wins)
Brisbane Lions - 10 wins from the last 11 games (current streak 4 wins)
Carlton - 10 wins from the last 13 games (current streak 3 wins)
St Kilda - 7 wins from the last 10 games (current streak 3 wins)
Adelaide - 8 wins from the last 10 games (current streak 1 win)
Essendon - 10 wins from the last 12 games (current streak 1 win)
Sydney - 10 wins from the last 12 games (current streak 1 win)

Happy to be humiliated by GWS or Gold Coast if it meant we beat Geelong. :p

I don't reckon that Eagles have a Bogey team. Seem to get the Job done more often than not. Does the MCG count? Anyway in light of that I really don't think we have the wood over anyone specifically, we just win consistanty.

Surely Sydney would be West Coast's biggest bogey side right now?

Collingwood probably being the other best candidate.

That has more to do with Sydney being a better side in the last few years. If they were a bogey side they would still beat us if they were rubbish.

We are Hawthorns bitches. Which is particularly annoying for me seeing as my whole damn family are Hawks supporters.

Soon Monty. Climb the ladder.

We also have the Tigers measure. We have the solemn responsibility to destroy Richmond pre-season hype every year.

Its a solemn responsibility.

Responsibility in Carlton's hands? Hardly your strong suit...

Hawthorn and the Saints are easily our bogey teams.

Wood over Richmond. We've done pretty well against Brisbane since that elimination final and Essendon since about 2010.

Even though we beat them last year Collingwood have had the wood on us as has St.Kilda, but we've had the wood over Carlton, Essendon, Richmond, Western Bulldogs and recently Adelaide. We also have a winning record against Freo and Port Adelaide. Sydney we have given up against.

Wood: N/A given the fact that Sydney beat us when it counted

Bogey: Collingwood and to a much lesser extent, North

Malcolm Blight certainly had the wood over both StKilda and Footscray

(1) Never played in a losing Nth Melb side against either Footscray or StKilda

(2) Coached Geelong for 6 years -only lost once each to both Footscray and StKilda -with the Footscray loss being in his final year

(3) Coaching the Crows -dont know what his home and away record was -but in a couple of Big games -beat Footscray in 1997 PF and beat -you guessed it -StKilda in 1997 GF
