Selection can only be based within these years,
ie. For us; Gerard Healy or Kieren Jack wouldn't be available for selection as Healy finished in 1990 and Jack has just started.

Someone like Greg Williams - who only had a couple of seasons with us in the time period - would be lucky to score a spot, despite how good he was for us in the 80s.

Fire away :thumbsu:

rather weak down back. there's some serious power up front though. I couldn't find a place for Robbo or Green on the field. and no surprise that most players are from the 98 & 00 sides.

Schwatta has to in there.

Jesus, is that really the Dees' best backline in 20 years?
my knowledge of the early 90's Dees isn't that great so it's possible I'm forgetting a player or two but yeah.

I guess Bizzell and Rivers could probably get in there... doesn't make things look much better though.

Edit: will change to include Rivers and/or Bizzell

B: Michael Wilson, Darryl Wakelin, Gavin Wanganeen
HB: Adam Kingsley, Chad Cornes, Brett Montgomery
C: Nick Stevens, Domenic Cassisi, Stuart Dew
HF: Peter Burgoyne, Warren Tredrea, Shaun Burgoyne

This would be my team;

B: G.Yeats - A.Ingerson - M.Whelan
HB: C.Bruce - J.Frawley - S.Febey
C: B.Green - J.McDonald - S.Woewodin
HF: J.Farmer - D.Schwartz - A.Jackovich

B: Michael Wilson, Darryl Wakelin, Gavin Wanganeen
HB: Adam Kingsley, Chad Cornes, Brett Montgomery
C: Domenic Cassisi, Josh Carr, Stuart Dew
HF: Peter Burgoyne, Warren Tredrea, Shaun Burgoyne
F: Brett Ebert, Scott Hodges, Byron Pickett
R: Matthew Primus, Roger James, Kane Cornes
Int: Brendan Lade, Josh Francou, Damien Hardwick, Stephen Paxman
No Roger James? No Nick Stevens? No Scotty Cummings?

FB: Wirrpanda - McIntosh - Brennan
HB: McKenna - Jakovich - Worsfold (C)
C: Mainwaring - Kemp - Matera
HF: Heady - White - Lewis
FF: Evans - Sumich - Matera
R: Cox - Judd - Cousins
IC: Waterman - Banfield - Pyke - Lamb

That was the offical Team 20 picked in 2006.

Not too many changes I would think from that side. LeCras in the forward line, maybe hasn't played enough games. Kerr would be pushing a spot on the bench at least, Embley, Glass, Braun unlucky.

Super team though, HB line and midfield especially. :thumbsu:
