marshall gave alot of credit to boak
i have been a long time critic of boak
but he is an undeniably huge influence on our young players and great club man
I bet you shot Bambi too!

It was Bambi's mother that got shot
Handyandy wouldn't have shot her just pummeled her to death with repetitive harsh language.
I am certain he is really Liam Gallagher.

There in lies the rub. Have seen alot of shit calls on here re: SPP, Wines, Boak, etc and overtime people are just dishonest about making them. I'll be happy to say that pretty much everyone I have bagged this year is now in career best form, but all these smug ****ers will puff there chests out when one of their pet projects does well and pretend like they're smarter than everyone else. Meanwhile if they were running the club Wingard and Polec would still be here, and Boak and Wines wouldn't be.

So in the spirit of giving the kiss of life into a player's career, Motlop is shit, he's always been shit, everyone with the surname Motlop is shit, Stephen Motlop I hate you.

This sort of more consistent performance has been obviously coming for a few years now. He needed the time and he needed the games of experience to get to where he is.

The main argument made by the pro-Marshall people over the last couple of years was that his performances were good enough to hold his place as they were. It made sense to keep picking him because we were a better team with him in the side and you really only get that KPF development by playing at AFL level. We're starting to see the fruits of that. If he'd played 20 less games at AFL level and 20 more games at SANFL level, he wouldn't be playing anywhere near as well as he is.

Next week looming as a big one for Marshall. Done just about everything that could be asked of him the last month. The only knock on him is it has been against poor defenders. Doesn't have to have a huge game against Geelong, but even a 2 goal or a 15 touch getting involved in the play type game should stamp him as a genuine emerging talent and not just a guy that plays AFL football.

Yep. This week is a big game for all three tall forwards and for the new midfield combination of Hayes, Rozee, Wines and Butters. Big test and a strong performance will bring even more excitement.

Lol had to search back a bit to find this thread lol.

Is one of if not the best story to come from this shit year.

Everything he’s doing I called and steadfastly told everyone he would produce.

It’s not like this came out of the blue, he’s always shown this, from his draft year to his early days in the magpies where you could see he just needed a bit more bulk and strength that would come with a few years and some continuity with footy that will give him the experience fitness and belief.

He’s still years away from his prime.

Now we just need to back Mitch in and develop him so we have the awesome 1-2 punch!

Balta had his measure when he moved to him. Big bodied defenders is still his weak spot but i cant knock his improvement.

Imagine how much better he'll be when we get rid of big dumb idiot Hinkie and our gameplan involves something other than bombing the ball to contests we're outnumbered in.
