He’s the only player I’ve ever seen who gets better the older he gets.
The way he’s changed his game to suit the modern game is nothing short of remarkable and he needs to be commended in a big way.

Ablett Snr was quite handy into his 30s, but yes I agree he’s been quite remarkable. Is there a nicer bloke to have played the game?

Not really fair to compare Hawkins in his 30s to GAS, the GOAT who was the best player in the game into his mid 30s dropping 120 goals.
I think he comfortably sits inside our top 3 ever forwards though, behind the obvious 2. Not sure there's many who have been as good as he has.

He’s definitely a better player then JK (by a fair way) and Jack. Same level as Brown and Nick.

i think if he can keep this coleman contending form for a few more seasons it'll be hard to argue. 800+ goals on the horizon.
