I feel he was a remnant of our 2008-2012 era. Gave 100% but lacked height, good kick and evasive skills. But he was a defensive pressure player who could win the hard ball.

I think 2013 still had a few honest trier types that could play a role (Matt Thomas springs to mind).

For some reason we had a few guys that played big finals series (Logan and O'Shea) that weren't consistent H&A performers.

I think the list and playing profile in 2014 went up another gear. It became more fast, slingshot football gameplan which complimented guys like White and Neade.

Logan didn't seem slow though, and O'Shea kept being a first 22 player.

How do you reckon Carlton or Collingwood fans feel about missing out on Clarko by 12 months.

Hypothetical but if they had their time again would they preferred to stay with an interim this year hoping to land Clarko or do they reckon they fewl they did ok going in with Voss and McRae.
