GWS will take a reaming if the Tigers are successful in getting both Hopper and Taranto.
Wonder what the Suns will be giving Richmond for Dusty.
Cause there is no way he can stay with them bring in those 2 after re-signed Jack and Cotch

Im ok with grundy for a late R1 and 5 x700 if the medical is ok.

Bruhn is much better than orourke because clearly his body is in better nick. Hes not a cert to make it but hes worth investing in.

Henry is talent and we would chase talent regardless of surname i just question the positional need ie 3rd tall fwd is not a great list need for us yet. But i expect we will go after him.

Happy with mckenna.

We like hardworking endurance runners so i can see scott being ok for a later pick.

Thomas i rate as a talent but would cost too much to get out of north.

I would chase parish above all mids named this trade period (incl hopper) but he will cost too much to get now..sow the seeds for FA next year. I wouldnt rule out us chasing someone like mitchell either.

Whats the bet we trade in someone completely different that we havent been linked to at all..its how we roll.

Is there some information that we are linked to Bail Scott? OOC , 22 and 55 games ... id say he would fit into our needs going forward but what cost?

To me the advantage of trading in recent draftees is that you gauge them against afl standards..they already have multiple years in, probably can be gotten at a discount to what theyu would go for it they were in the draft. Its not so much if they are world beaters etc... its are they better than what we can get in the draft for pick X. Bring in 20 ish kids there is still a lot ??? about them for sure, we have a few on our list like that ..that we have drafted ourselves but the whole drafting process is informed risk.

TT is a goal kicker.... and my weakness is goal kickers. Cameron put to be my questions over him for ever in the pies match when he nailed the goal from the boundary. Goal kickers win games. Chapman. Johnson..even Bartel. ... so TT has that appeal... but I agree..expensive a..and we he really be someone we target of we also target Henry?

McKenna from memory can run like a cut cat. would be like adding another Holmes type.

The bold sounds like the classic Mystery mid post

Dear Dim Tigs.

None of us care about your inane thoughts.
You are the dumbest fan base in football.

We are not all that dumb.

Given the chances of Dimma no longer being our coach after 2024 have increased what development coaches do you recommend 2025 and onwards. There could be a opening

The downside of the recently drafted is that you're still paying for potential but at a premium, it is especially bad if they don't have a clear pathway into the 22, nothing worse than paying a guy 350k+ to play in your 2nds.

He hasn’t got a defensive game, that’s why he can’t get a game at the Pies and wants $350k per year and they will want a late 1st rounder for him. Is he worth that? Or do we go someone else we need now?

I think Henry's numbers stack up to someone who could play a lot of footy. Perfect no..im sure there is stuff to work on ...

I would say more often the its not at a premium..its at a discount to what they cost at draft. The 350 figure seems to be a a second year contract..

Do you belive it.... So many on here say "they have herd from good a good source " and when someone says it, be only 1% chance if true..
I’m happy to even go as far as no one on this board has a good source within the walls of GFC
It’s pretty easy to have a stab in the dark like I did with Parish.
Doesn’t take much

I could do it part time.
I do have my coaching level 2 accreditation.

But it wouldn’t suit your team, I’m highly focused on stopping main ball winners

If they have any brains in Melbourne if they/we do not win a premiership by the end of 2024 Dimma and Blair should be given the boot given their record.

The Clarke fellow is pretty good, I think he come from your neck of the woods, he should stay, I rate his efforts as good if not better than any of them.

Just quietly, I was a little annoyed Mcrae got snatched up by Collingwood

Hopper 100% would not be in our team next week if he was on our list on this season's form... It's just a fact.

Next year he may come back to his best form... It is definitely an IF though.
Is it fact? Not challenging you're opinion if you don't rate him, but I would debate it is a fact he wouldn't be in our team.

Interupted year and I don't want to go too far the other way but on talent he'd nearly be our best midfielder.

**** him though, if he is wants to play for a grub team like Richmond then I don't want him.

Surely Oliver Henry has an engine to lift his defensive game? That's the easier part to a forwards game, if they have the natural talent to score that is.
There’s also the want to do it.
I’d imagine if he didn’t do it for the GFC even a person like his brother would set him straight
