We should go after Georgiades ,the eagles apparently are interested and he'll likely be another Kennedy for them.
We have never had a real gun long term full forward.
I hope we have a chat to Kennedy before he gets too fat in the off season. Amiss modelled his game on him & idolises the bloke. 2 year contract 1 as a player then 1 as the forward coach with Graham probably getting poached would be awesome for me.

I'm trying to work through in my head what we'd need and if Georgiades would work. I think a forwardline NEEDS someone close to 200cm in this day age that can either clunk marks or at the very least bring it to ground. I dont think Georgiades or Amiss are that player but you could have one of Jackson or Darcy playing that role while Amiss and Georgiades are the real threat.

Sounds like for whatever reason, Georgiades will go to WC if anyone though, which is going to be annoying

Consider how we would defend that set up. Alex Pearce has to match up on the tallest marking threat, he's also out most athletic defender (other that Logue) meaning the most athletic tall (Amiss) can lead Cox to the ball - or the defenders are switched and the likes of Jackson is marking against the smaller opponent.

I need to check the wording on Kelly to see if Geelong tried the same funny business. I do find it funny though that they'll work with US and WC. I'm going to back Bell to be strong enough to walk away as needed. WC arent giving them pick 2

From memory, all news articles stated he wanted to go to West Coast. Obvious to see what Melbourne are doing though.

The geelong news certainly ran with Geelong negotiating with both teams to achieve an acceptable trade - two years in a row.

But I remember I was on a golf course with sweat running down my back when the news broke that Tim Kelly had requested a trade home to WC, in the second year. Boy the WC people I was with celebrated that hard.

This forward line looks pretty good, but lacks a star.

HF: Frederick Taberner Jackson
F: Switta Amiss Schultz

Bench: Walters
Players who rotate foward, Fyfe ..

Probably need one more quality player in there. A mid forward who kicks 20 goals would be very handy, as well as a forward who can kick 40 plus.

Interestingly, Collingwood score more goals through even contribution while Brisbane depend on 4 or 5 players to get more of there goals.

The forwardline in 2 years time (fingers crossed)
Amiss Jackson Treacy
Switta Sturt Freddy

Nah, different, they said preference is West Coast, Melbourne are specifically avoiding naming us to give some illusion of a bidding war
It's similar in that he was very definitely requesting a trade to WC, but they refuse to say it.

I can't see how it can be made to work for WCE. They need to build a midfield and for that they are going to need to be using at least two top 10 picks across the next two drafts. Only way it lines up for me is if one of Adelaide, Essendon or Hawthorn is willing to trade their F1 to move up to 2 (2 in live picks anyway), to which you would think the answer would be no. Like if one of the mids available at picks 2/3 is worth trading up that much for then West Coast should just take them.
They can't just trade down to two teens picks, what's the point? Melbourne aren't going to accept 1 one of them and no-one has two picks between 8 and 12 to trade.
