Ever watched the game while exercising? Treadmill, punching bag etc.

I've done that during some games when it's stressful, really alleviates some of the nerves.
Very true. I used to a a bit of public speaking (believe it or not) and I remember a guest speaker at our school saying it would be ideal if you could do a set of fifty push ups five minutes before you stood on stage to alleviate the nerves or perhaps run two kilometres. When you are physically tired it's nigh impossible to feel nervous. Reality makes these solutions unrealistic but you are right=some push ups and light weights would help.

My wife has convinced me that I should at least watch the first half before heading out so I'm going to give it a go!

Where do you go while it's on? Do you look at the scores?
When it gets close in a past quarter I usually go to my shed and look at the scores there because I can't handle the anxiety.
