Scrimshaw's name starts with S and Bowes name ends with S. Surely that counts for something too? :laughv1:

I love the dot joining people go through looking for glimmers of hope it will mean a greater chance of him nominating us.
I'm getting human centipede vibes, eek!

Bowes sounds like part of a boat. Scrimshaw is made from whale bones. Nautical themes ahoy!

Glad we’ve got the thread back on track… now for the next point on the agenda, how do we get a first pick from Brisbane for Jack Gunston

When can Jack Bowes nominate a team of his choice

What gets me is when people talk about who North will select with pick 2, like bidding or not bidding on Ashcroft is out of their control.
I mean, it is North so they might screw it up, but they’d want to make a bid on Ashcroft to bring whatever other picks they have forward.

Some posters just pushing it back 1 spot because of the Ashcroft bid
I know Ashcroft will get bid on, but we actually have pick 6
Most of their posts are directly quoting someone saying pick 6, but they can’t help but post that we have pick 7, which we don’t have, yet

True, it'd be best if they did, but it's still in their control.
Because the name we call out will be Pick 7......
In some cases, posters have talked about trading pick 7, which we literally can't do. (At least not in trade week).

But we have pick 6. So until it’s traded or until draft night we have pick 6
Why the hell are you arguing over semantics?

Both you and Sixpence know our Pick 6 will be pushed back one spot, why you would make a fuss about someone calling it Pick 7
