What’s the deal for 3 and 12?

DAICOS MEETS WITH TIGERS

Collingwood seagull Nick Daicos has done a medical with Richmond, after meeting with the club in recent days to discuss a potential move away from the club he despised as a kid.

It's understood the contracted Daicos met with Tigers officials while walking down Swan St for an off-season holiday, with the club stepping up its interest in the 180cm son of some guy.

The involvement of Daicos could help Richmond in winning trade week after obtaining GWS Giants blokes Tom Toronto and midfielder Jacob Hopper. As things stand, the Pies are still searching for more than the Tigers' offer of pick No.72 and a future fourth-round selection.

Daicos has some undetermined time to run on the how ever many year contract he signed at Collingwood in November 2021, but is hoping for more opportunities to win flags after shitting the bed in the preliminary final dying stages.

The 19-year-old Daicos has spent one season at Bogan Park after arriving as a father son. Coached by Craig McRae The ex-Tigers assistant was quoted as saying “can you blame him” when told of Daicos desire to be a Tiger. – Riley Beveridge

Thought you were taking the piss, then realised it was written by Riley, pretty much in line with his usual level of in depth research and writing skills.

The jury is still out on HRS, I honestly like him with McIntosh getting on.
The next couple of seasons will be crucial to whether Hugo Ralphsmith makes it as a player.
I regard him as quite sloppy, but I may be unduly influenced by the mullet.

I need that.

Not sure if posted yet but seems like Soldo going not HRS

SOLDO MEETS WITH GIANTS

RICHMOND ruckman Ivan Soldo has done a medical with Greater Western Sydney, after meeting with the club in recent days to discuss a potential reunion with new coach Adam Kingsley.

It's understood the contracted Soldo met with Giants officials while returning to his hometown of Canberra for an off-season holiday, with the club stepping up its interest in the 204cm big man.

The involvement of Soldo could help Richmond in negotiations over a deal for star midfielder Jacob Hopper. As things stand, the Giants are still searching for more than the Tigers' offer of pick No.31 and a future first-round selection.

Soldo has two seasons to run on the three-year contract he signed at Richmond in September 2021, but is hoping for more opportunities after managing only 13 games this year.

The 26-year-old Soldo has spent eight seasons at Punt Road after arriving as a rookie, including the last four working under Kingsley. The ex-Tigers assistant was appointed as the Giants' new senior coach in August. – Riley Beveridge

Most clubs are not bend over Blair.

There is a good chance RFC can pick up something juicy in the preseason draft even for a year and we promote premiership even if just in 2023

It looks like it's getting closer. Congrats to the club for filling the biggest need by bringing in two young 'A grade' mids.

A very bold and aggressive move many wouldn't have dreamed about only a few weeks ago. Carries a degree of risk but it's a good gamble

Groupie_ I'm glad you've found the support you need in Mr Magic
Must make you feel like you're on the right track with your thought process.
Groupie is way too smart for Magic

He is just using him to get what he wants and will dispose of magic like a cheap hooker when he has got his pleasure

TARANTO MEETS WITH GIANTS

RICHMOND midfielder Tim Taranto has done a medical with Greater Western Sydney, after meeting with the club in recent days to discuss a potential reunion with his former club.

It's understood the contracted Taranto met with Giants officials while planning for his move to Melbourne to play for Richmond, with the club stepping up its interest in the recently departed midfielder.

The involvement of Taranto could help Richmond in negotiations over a deal for star midfielder Jacob Hopper. As things stand, the Giants are still searching for more than the Tigers' offer of pick No.31 and a future first-round selection.

Taranto has seven years to run on a seven year contract he signed at Richmond in October 2022.

If Collingwood are stuck with Grundy who would they have to offload?

I reckon a lot of clubs are calling bluff and a few players are heading to preseason draft this time

Melbourne could hold onto Jackson or he goes to pre-season. If your Jackson what do you do? Take the risk.

Melbourne will be thinking Pies want to offload Grundy regardless, Geelong are not in play
