Hmm not sure on this.
Bruhn has talent and has shown it in his first two years why he was a top 15 pick.
End of first round is more or less right.
He could go either way in development but on current output that’s fair value.

Geelongs haul for 25 looks lofty but we did similar for our pick swap for 27 with Collingwood last year. It will come down to what they do with this pick. Ollie Henry for 25 well worth it.

I'm not questioning his traded pick, cats were lowballing offering 38 and folded once gws said get stuffed. A first-round pick (18) is fair. None of these boys will play much for the cats in 2023. Bruhn is a 50/50 and can hardly get a game for gws but i don't mind him and as you said could go either way.
Henry if he gets to the cat's won't play much in 2023. Bowes LOL steak knives to pick 7 and he will be lucky to play many games full stop, average player.

Rendell said before gws' picks 12 and 15 would be enough to trade for pick 2 :drunk:
12 & 19 was enough for a developed pick 2

I’d be dubious stating what GWS claim in this trade period through the media as fact. They use it to suit their narrative, case in point their twice daily updates on trade radio on the Hopper deal. Bruhn deal ended up fair and reasonable at this stage of his career and that’s what the cats should be assessed upon.

Henry will end up a decent third tall for them, once Hawkins retires. May even end up a second tall. He’s a player they have in mind for the future, not 23. But if he impacts next year that’s a bonus.

Same with Bowes. His trade is purely to get pick 7. If he plays as a regular in the 22 over the next four years that’s a massive win for the Cats. Will be interesting to see what they pony up going back to GC. They will be hoping it’s pick 18, but I think they will split this and give them something later.

Could be isn’t is best 22.

There is no guaranteed spot for him next year. He is already shitty he isn’t playing week in week out at Collingwood so what’s happening in 2030 is irrelevant for him.

Plus we don’t have the capital to even get it done.

Besides everyone knows the best tuck shop is the tuck shop in Caulfield
Just googled, looks the goods 👍. But staying on point i still think Henry will be the type of player capable of kicking bags of goals but realistically little chance now of making any move.

He is talented. I just don’t see a spot for him.

IMO there is no reason we should be trading for a player who isn’t walking into our best 22. It would be different were we rebuilding.

Mackie folded like a deck of cards, yesterday offering pick 38 or thereabouts, today pick 18 for Bruhn

And now brissy wins this trade easily and has enough points for Ashcroft and Flecther by receiving 2 X 2nd rounders, 1 X 3rd and 2 x 4th rounders. The cats gave up too much for pick 25.

Of course, they are wanting to pass that on to the pies, hope the pies reject it.

Don’t think it ends there, brissy will give them something favourable in the years to come
