The one downside of Soldo staying is that the two of them have to split rucktime in the VFL. I think rucking full games more often would be better for Ryan’s development.

Colina might be the worst player getting a VFL game in the comp at the moment. Would need to improve remarkably to even look like he belongs at that level.

Rubbish. What about when he took a hanger over Mason Cox, then went back and calmly slotted the goal from 60m with the ball sailing through post-high? Or the time Adam Saad was streaming out of half back and Colina ran him down from behind with a beautiful tackle, before spearing a 40m bullet pass to Lynch at full forward?

Unless I'm imagining things, Colina is on track to be the GOAT.

I don’t recall seeing Ryan struggle against any VFL rucks in 2022. Maybe some he didn’t dominate but he always looked competitive. I don’t think he is a past the post player, but there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic about Critter Ryan.

Don’t think it’s worth keeping RCD TBH. He’s never getting a game. Not good enough, plays one role and now has 5 mids ahead of him. For his sake I hope there’s a club that’ll take him as a rookie. It would be better for him to find another club for one last shot at it if he can find one

Pick 53 and 6o something aren't worth anything much at all this year and they won't be better than 2 players entering their prime.

I still have faith that they are better talent than we’ll likely find.

Soldo was a cat B rookie and has become a very handy back up ruck. He didn’t get a game for two years so we have to give Colina a hell of a lot of time before we make a call - he’s coming from a fair way back

I hope you saw some better moments than me then. The few partial games I saw (which is no sample really), unless it was kicked to him like you might pop a pass up to him at high post, he wasn't moving to get anything above his head - which I thought was a real pity because above HIS head is a massive advantage. Even when moving like you might roll to the basket, he lost the flight of the ball. First season though. He did play juniors, he did get into the U16 Vic squad or something like that, which is why I was really hopeful. Very likeable bloke though - you would want him to succeed - just not sure he does enough on grass.
