It's the sort of thing that could compensate for not having the best midfield in the league, particularly surrounded by Rankine/Rachelle.

Nailing this year (and probably next's) draft with midfielders will tell the story.

I wouldn't get too used to Rachele being a forward.

After all:

He's quite quickly becoming our third or fourth choice inside mid.

Mostyn now is a good time to go:

“Ok guys, you were right, Dawson should not be playing defence”

Never again.
‘ nah he can’t play midfield , he’s always played at half back ‘

2 showdown medals playing wing or inside mid

2/2 wins when he’s around the ball

0/1 when in defence

Heat maps though

Hinge is a ripper

Convinced his most natural position is wing but with Dawson in mid needed his height and run back

Persist persist

Will only get better
Yep Hinge is best on a wing. Great left foot kick. Great to see Dawson up the ground. Finally.

Keane. We need to trade in another KPD. Perhaps Cox wants to come home from Freo.
Redman and Draper would be other good targets but Redman not a KPD.

Ah, I thought you were talking next week.

I agree in thinking he could play Fwd, Ruck, or pretty much anywhere you needed under the right circumstances. I cant see him moving from our backline any time soon, considering our current KPD stocks though.

If ROB can play like that more often, no one’s hanging s**t on him, brilliant game
His tap work wasn’t even that great tonight, but if he can provide that kind of aerial presence weekly, he’s a keeper and we needn’t be looking for a replacement yet
