Hopefully I’m being too pessimistic but it feels like everything is set up for us to lose this week.

Hot, humid and slippery conditions at a ground that doesn’t offer the space of the MCG to run/spread into.

Lions given a rocket by coach and media, will be out to atone.

Danniher ALWAYS kicks 3+ goals against us.

We will get slaughtered in hit-outs - can we win enough clearances?

Our forward structure compromised by having to rotate McStay and Johnson through the ruck (Checkers will be given no space) and not having Cox and Cameron to sneak forward for a couple of marks and goals.

All the focus on our rucks and thier Fwds this week have obscured the one most telling part of this game - they are totally stuffed for tall defenders. Combine that with the other big headline which flew under the radar last week - AJ looked incredible at times, across the ground, and even clunked marks in the wet.

SO: They still havent learned to defend. Even if they dominate possession and F50, don't worry about their forward line - our forward line is going to be unstoppable
