Yeah why not. Rather than sitting alone in the coach's box looking for all the world like a spectator, saying nothing while guzzling canned sugar

he's now found his niche. Glad handing players, pointing to held up signs, outright barracking and rarely forgetting where the camera is so he

can 'perform'. After 10yrs and some home truths from Tredders we can never accuse Hinkley of missing an opportunity for self aggrandizement.

On the rare occasions we see him fiddling awkwardly with his headset i'm reminded "is this dick really coaching an afl team" because all i'm

seeing is a guy who has admitted that once the ball is bounced there's not much he can do.

Carr said recently that the coaching of the team is now a more collaborative effort... code for bypassing Hinkley?

So yeah Macca, leave him where he is, put him on 60K which is about right for a glad hand, sign pointer.
